According to the old says the Orchird Island Canoe building technique involved no modern tools or equipment. The canoe itself would never drowned and move forward with less friction. All these ancient survivial wisdom were handled hundreds years ago from outsider without any written scripts.

Couldn't resist going back to this old tree. The water level is constantly changing in the lakes around here so opportunities come and go with the weather. I haven't caught the light just right yet. our backyard maple is wise: new leaves are red, not green, so not to be burned by the sun; as they gain mass and strength, they morph into their green color. i’m fascinated by these early leaves. a single leaf seems to hold lifetimes of wisdom within itself.

De stenen sculpturen in Sno, een klein dorpje in de Kazbegi-regio van Georgië, maken deel uit van een bijzonder kunstproject in de Kaukasus. De sculpturen bestaan uit indrukwekkende stenen kunstwerken van gigantische gezichten, die vaak een melancholische of mysterieuze uitstraling hebben.
