A wireless mouse has no tail. Today, April 1st, Logitech has responded to customer demand and is retiring the outdated term “wireless mouse”, choosing a more appropriate mammal. From now on they are in the hamster business. See promo here:

for Macro Mondays - Bottoms Up

Early in the afternoon, I went over to the Glendale Central Library. It has been reopened since April, but I wasn't aware that it was until a couple of weeks ago. I've been going over again, in my free time, to check out what they have in any new books or DVDs. The layout is a bit different. The tables are separated, some computers and laptops are set up for patrons to use if they don't have their own laptops, and masks are still required to be worn, as well as social distancing.

I was catching up on some writing, using my own laptop. Just for fun, I checked out the camera on my phone, switching from my regular lens to my ultra-wide angle lens. I liked what the ultra-wide lens gave me, so I took this photo. The books on the shelves are all poetry books, or biographies of poets.

Day 27 - January 27, 2010

Woke up today thinking to myself, "I would like my next photo to have plenty of light and if possible I want my subject to be white."

Little did I know that I'd soon have a shiny, white, new toy to photograph.

Happy Bokeh Wednesday everyone.

Uploading this early so I can go out and play! =)

Today’s picture celebrates the dawn of a new era of smallness.

Do you remember when everything was micro; microwaves, micro computers, microfibres etc etc.

When things got smaller, they needed another term and came up with nano.

Strictly speaking nanotechnology refers to working with matter at atomic or molecular size.

I don’t think the receiver for my wireless mouse operates at that size. It is small though; tiny enough to be left in place even when the netbook in in its bag.

Just a simple shot of my wireless mouse and some lighting reflection. =)

The mouse is an extremely popular technology to interact with your computer . While the majority of mice are connected directly to the computers peripheral input via a cord and are powered by the computers main power, wireless mice are becoming extremely popular to give computer users cordless accessibility to their mice and to interact with their computer.view more wiress mouse information at:

i need one of these for home.

The other morning I was sitting at my desk minding my own business, when the glass fixture over my head became dislodged and shattered over my head and laptop. It fell about 6 feet before crashing, so it had some pretty descent momentum going.

Two days later I am STILL finding shards of glass around my desk and laptop!
