The old SF Opera storage warehouse that's being torn down to make way for (surprise!) more apartments. The metal sheeting on the roof was just removed and I wanted to get a pic or two of the frame before it got torn down.

I made this model just before I left for sleepaway camp in June, but did not have time to post it until now. Although this model only requires 30 units, the double axes make it very impressive to look at and one of my favorites in my growing collection.

Spent the night sketching out some ideas for a website redesign. not much in the way of design but more of layout and positioning.. but then again, thats what a wireframe is/is for
Makkelijk, snel, goedkoop. Wireframing kan je een hoop sores besparen. Een wireframe is een "gestripte" versie van een interactief programma. Je kunt het gebruiken voor cd-rom applicaties, websites etc.
Hoe maak je een wireframe?
In grote blokken en kaders geef je aan waar alle onderdelen van een site gepositioneerd worden in het vlak. Het is dus eigenlijk een eenvoudige compositie van de verschillende elementen van een website. Je gebruikt in principe geen kleur, logo's of foto's maar concetreert je puur op de vlakverdeling. De tekst die je gebruikt is om aan te geven hoe de verhoudingen zijn van de tekst ten opzichte van het vlak.
Voordelen van het gebruik van wireframes:
-Wireframe biedt structuur aan opdrachtgever, opdrachtnemer, eindgebruiker.
-Wireframe maakt content strategie -behoeften en voorwaarden- duidelijk
-Wireframe is een geweldige tool binnen usability onderzoek.

I ultimately went with option 'F', but decided to move the sidebar to the left for the design.
Am I the only one who thinks this guy looks like Randall Graves from Clerks? :-P
The wireframe still needs some extra tweaking :-)
PS: Done in Maya 2008 (buggiest thing in the world)
