Lufthansa have started using an Airbus A340-300 on their Frankfurt-Dublin route for summer 2019.
Flight LH 978/979 on Wednesdays only until Sept/ October will be upgraded from the regular A320/1 to the massive A340, a real treat at Dublin not used to regular A340 movements, certainly not passenger services.
Seen on the inaugural flight back from Dublin to Frankfurt, LH 979 on 3rd July 2019, D-AIGS doing the honors.
British Airways CityFlyer G-LCYN, the "700th" Embraer ERJ type delivered & proudly displayed on the side.
Seen at London City Airport, the home of the CityFlyer fleet of Embraer's, ideal for the short runway & steep landing/ take offs required.
As well as the convenience of London City Airport with quicker access to London itself, the airport provides amazing views for departing passengers, you can almost touch the wings from the gates, plus all boarding is done by walkway, there are no airbridges.

Way back in January 1987, the BAe 146 was selected as the launch jet aircraft for London City Airport (LCY).
Due to its short-field capabilities and quietness, it was the perfect choice. It was at the time the only conventional jet aircraft that could use London City Airport.
Cityjet continued to the last operator of this type into LCY until the onset of Covid-19 in early 2020 when the fleet was prematurely retired.

On Sunday 5th March, British Airways operated a very unique flight on the London/Dublin route using their long haul Boeing 777-300ER.
Boeing 777-336ER, G-STBG, built in 2013, operated the 1 hour flight, always served by their short haul A319/320/321 fleet.
G-STBG has 8 first class, 76 business, 40 premium economy & 130 economy seats, featuring the new Club world lie flat suites in business, in a 1-2-1 configuration featuring sliding doors, rolled out between 2019 and 2022.

In late January, British Airways widebody runs to FRA,BER and DUB were offered in their booking engine due to a cargo contract with IAG Cargo requiring additional belly hold capacity.
Originally 31 short-haul widebody flights to Frankfurt, Berlin & Dublin, typically served by the Airbus A320 family between February and April switched to 777 operations.
Sadly however from an enthusiast point of view, most of the flights were downgraded back to Airbus A321 equipment before the actual flights commenced due to the loss of the cargo contract.
The Dublin flight of the 5th continued, moreso because of the heavy bookings on both legs, however the flight of the 7th reverted to an A321.

I haven't done a self portrait shot lately so I decided to head outside with the tripod since it was so sunny. I've noticed that in a lot of pictures one of my eye squints more than the other, but if I focus on opening both wide, I end up with murder eyes! Better to just move on and accept my flaws :)
I also wanted to take my own headshots with my 85mm too!
I felt like testing my 85mm with some self portrait headshots....I kind of had too much fun.
I'm nearly done with the Israel pictures. Then I have some images from a winter shoot I did, some portraits of my friends Christian, Phoebe, Judy, and Anushka, some badass waterfall and river pictures, my fake "yearbook" photo AND another assignment I've been working on! I AM SO BEHIND ON UPLOADING SINCE I ONLY UPLOAD LIKE 3-4 IMAGES A DAY UGHHH!
So yeah, keep your eyes peeled!

[[Genre]] is just about to start and we are offering Chicana Lips and Eyeshadow.
The Chicana lips are 5 in a pack, 7 different packs to choose from! The eyes have just one item, the beautiful winged liner with white shadow that is prevalent in the American fashion standard for west coast chicanas!
Currently they are only available for system layers, appliers will be coming eventually.
Eyeshadow is only 50L during the event, and lips only 100L per pack till the event is over.

I slept a little better last night, not so many bad dreams but I still didn't fall asleep until about 4:30am...I stayed in bed until about 11:30am which I really hate doing but at least no one was angry...So far this isn't a bad Friday either...Yesterday Anthony sent me an adorable Shar Pei plushie I've become smitten over. I've named him "Scotch, Scotchy Scotch Scotch" and if you've ever seen The Anchorman, you'll understand why it makes me laugh :D
