There is a profound difference between the culture of fine wine, which is art, sharing, beauty, and love, and those who instead use the glass merely to hang out with those they deem the "right" people, and then there are those who use it only as an anesthetic to hide their own frustration. Some people fill their mouths with cheerful slogans to give themselves an air of importance and mask an existence spent plotting in the shadows and living off favors.Yet, the intoxication of the facade is short-lived: when the fumes evaporate, the only thing left at the bottom is the bitter aftertaste of a gratuitous malice that cannot be washed away. You can keep on toasting to your petty hallway plots, but remember that noble wine elevates transparent people, while hypocrisy only makes you stagger.
