I truly like it when a theme is perfect for my props. Although I did have have to search a little bit for them.

What a great idea. Nice of you to ask but I think it might be better if i make the tea for us both. Just in case.

Camera
Although this is my pride and joy camera, it does have some things that do present problems from time to time. With the glass on the front end, it pretty much becomes a tripod only camera. The weight is about 9 pounds. So steady is hard to do sometimes. Many of my bear shots are done with this camera. Except! This one.....

Thanks to Dagmar DagBan for the link to Analog Efex Prefix 2. I used Silver Efex Pro first, as usual.
Thank you for looking. (Don't waste any time trying to read that non-word.)

I love the look of old spools of thread. Something so simple to take one back to older times.
I really do miss those days.
I love the tech but sometimes I long for those simpler times.

So this is totally artsy fartsy & my own husband didn't even like it, but sometimes you just gotta go with captures that move you in some way. Something about this, just made me melt.
*Thanks for the editing advice, Tony!
I love shooting pencil crayons. There is a couple of layers here to enjoy. I feel the need to continue to find the lovely of this world. Hopefully we can make this world better again.
Happy Macro Mondays
Nothing better than a Bear and some window light. We really have no agendas here. Well mine is working on my music, but the Bears have nothing really to do.

Splash Page Photo of the character, Prince Lexington Jelani from my Sanquinolency series.
Taken at Victorian London - Time Portal
I'd also like to thank Jo Yardley for the gift of this wonderful sim. If you haven't visited all the awesome places at the Time Portal you should take a look. They'll take you back in time.
Yes they are. You cannot too far in life if you do not have good friends. That's a fact.

with a window reflection. For "Soft" and "Crazy Tuesday"!
Does soft mean a less vibrant hue?
Thanks for looking,
It's been a rough week, but all of the lovely comments & supportive words left on my stream has been so uplifting. Thank you!
I have such fun with macro photos, all the more so with tiny objects and the Venus Optics Laowa lens that magnifies objects by 2. I like to test my wonky close-sighted eye and vision to see how closely I can capture something like these onion flakes.
Fun to keep experimenting. Took tweezers to drop a few onion flakes into the miniature bottle.
*Height of glass bottle and cork: 0.87 inches/ 2.2cm. Side to side width: 4cm/1.57 inches. Aperture between f/8—f/11. No highlight clipping, I promise.
Laowa 60mm f/2.8 2x magnification lens
I had a very difficult time choosing over the photos I took last week. I am trying to get ahead of these things a little bit. then, when you edit, things can change a bit.

Seen on Explore Page... thank you!!
.... and they were even better with sugar on top
.... but I think I ate the last few of them today... sorry....
Nearly forgot.. (for Storm):

I stopped by the store this morning to pick up flowers to photograph & grab a coffee. When I got home & set everything up, I was only able to take a few pics before a wicked headache came on. It was so bad that I had to call my husband to come home from work, as I wasn't able to take care of Lily. I'm much better now, but very late with today's upload. I debated on skipping all together, but The Shades of Yellow Friday group is one of my faves & I didn't want to miss out.
Thank you so much for all of the sweet comments yesterday (& everyday). I was so touched & grateful!
Well don't worry about that. We all love you just the same. I think it is a great thing that you are full of colour. It makes you a bit more special.

Gerrie wishes there was no hostility in the world. Everytime I listen to the news there is yet another mass shooting somewhere. I could not live with that around me all the time. It is a lot to bear.

Sometimes there is not much to do. So now we can sit and look out the window. What is that neighbour doing over there?

Hobby is Music. Drums, guitar, keyboards and some singing.
This is a 12 string acoustic guitar and she sounds so pretty to play. Angels come to visit when i play.
Music was my first passion in life soon followed by the snap.....
