Nebraska State Historical Society, Red Cloud, Nebraska

Built in 1888 as the Garber Bank, the former Farmers & Merchants Bank is one of many significant buildings that are part of the Willa Cather Foundation.

Budynek powstał w roku 1900, dawniej znany jako Villa Prinzess Charlotte, pełnił funkcję domu turystycznego i posiadał 40 miejsc noclegowych. Obiekt wyposażony był w centralne ogrzewanie, łazienkę z ciepłą i zimną wodą, salon, jadalnię i garaż dla samochodów. W latach 90 XX w. obiekt zmienił nazwę na Pawilon Szarotka – znajdował się tu oddział schorzeń neurologicznych. Wpisany został do rejestru zabytków dnia 28.12.1988 roku pod numerem 350/938/J.

Though Willa is only 4 inches tall, she is a wonderful ballerina! She came here during Christmas with a ballet troupe to entertain us and has decided to stay! I have it on some authority that some of her fellow ballerinas may "defect" and come here, too!

Secesyjną willę wybudowano w 1906 r. wg projektu Ignatza Grünfelda. Przeznaczona była dla ówczesnego dyrektora Bismarckhütte - Emila Marxa.

Kolejnymi właścicielami willi byli Lubomirscy, Sanguszkowie, Ledóchowscy oraz Czartoryscy. Obecnie willa jest siedzibą Stowarzyszenia Willa Decjusza.

Willa Danusia, ul. Zdrojowa, Szczawnica, 21 lipca 2020 r.

Dwie bliźniacze wille - Ukrainka i Janina - zbudowali Walery Eljasz-Radzikowski i jego syn Stanisław. W 1909 r. budynki zostały sprzedane, a Janina została po jakimś czasie rozebrana. Po II wojnie światowej zmieniono nazwę willi Ukrainka na Danusia. Obecnie mieści się w niej hotel.

Two twin villas - Ukrainka and Janina - were built by Walery Eljasz-Radzikowski and his son Stanisław. In 1909 the buildings were sold. Janina was dismantled after some time. After the World War II the name of the Ukrainka was changed into Danusia. Currently it houses a hotel.
