One of the best flowers for pollinators is the Prairie Spiderwort which bloom late spring to early summer. The flowers are 1 - 1 ½" across and have three petals usually in blue to purple, but may also be in pink, white or red. Best viewed large.

I found these cute tiny wildflowers near the woods in our neighborhood. They were supported by a decomposed branch and green leaves. I was happy that I could shoot them from a good angle to exhibit their trumpet shape. Besides, the sunlight enhances their natural beauty; how lovely!

You're a wildflower in the wind

Breezy, you don't wanna lose your stem

You tear out of the soil in the end

Now you don't know nowhere to begin

Saw this lovely coloured wildflower in a hedgerow on my Easter Sunday walk. Don't know its name.

I saw several types of wildflowers on the descent from the "Hoher Ifen". This photo was taken close to the "Karst" photo, which means there was a lot of limestone.

Epic year for wildflowers here as the monsoon season has been very good to Colorado.

Capture made while hiking through the forest in the Snowy Range. The forest floor opened at a spot and these wildflowers filled that forest floor nicely and the sunlight popped out of the clouds making them all the more pretty.

The wildflowers are taking back the land, blurring the boundaries marked by the fence. I found this in a metaphorical pile of pictures. The whites in the front are a little blown out, but I like this spot--it's on top of a steep hill that overlooks the valley. Happy Fence Friday!
