No, I don't know either. Presumably some whack-job wierdo stuff. Seen at the Buttercross at Oakham. This plus the packet of cigarettes (which suggested someone had time to carefully read the newpaper) caught my eye and left me wondering.

The idea of today's photo came to me while I was folding laundry...lol...Household chores can be a real drag to some people but I find a sort of comfort doing them; even the mundane day to day tasks like doing the laundry or the dishes. I know....I know...you are probably thinking - Wow, what a wierdo! 😉

Hey, thanks for visiting! I hope your Thursday was awesome!

Just me and dingo being wierdos :P

First shot from my Mini Staycation (day out) with my Wife.

Last time I came to this lighthouse it was being battered by a winter storm, a little calmer this time.

As a landscape photographer I am often challenged, usually by farmers, as to what I am up too. It happened here as well. I had noticed that there was someone behind the lighthouse, he had obviously seen me as well. He emerged after a while and challenged me with a "what are you doing stood there you wierdo" (as if). As I explained that I was taking a photo, equally as aggressively, and he had just ruined it. He apologized and went back to his fishing. Ended up having quite a good chat with him, a nice chap as it turned out.

now it really is the end...birthday to birthday...done!

it's been a quiet birthday spent mooching around blackpool with Rae-mundo (space cadet level iv) because it's thursday and thus a 'school night' the party is happening on saturday when i shall have assorted wierdos, lezzers and poofs imbibing of the grape and grain, eating of the chilli and generally making merry.

i've taken 367 pictures for this project and although some are shockingly bad i am proud of them all...what i love is that i have a basic knowledge (infant level) that i can now expand upon in a 52.

the numbering anomaly has been uncovered by the delectable Mrs.Cattus and will corrected in good time...what has come to light is that there's 2 days pictures not posted...i'm absolutely sure they're on my hard-drive but some searching will be required to unearth them and post them...................oh well i did say it was '-ish' *shrugs*

Kate has such a gorgeous white kitchen, with lashings of good green. I think I need to sneak in when they're out and take pictures of it all, as they think I'm a wierdo for trying to photograph their apples.

An architectural abstract of a facade of a random office building in the City of London. I do enjoy shooting this sort of thing even when everyone's looking at me like I'm some kind of wierdo......

On the subject of London, I'm organising a London Flickr Group photowalk around the Nine Elms / Battersea area for Sunday 20th February, more details here if anyone is interested :

From Wikipedia, "The City of London is a city, ceremonial county and local government district that contains the historic centre and the primary central business district (CBD) of London. It constituted most of London from its settlement by the Romans in the 1st century AD to the Middle Ages, but the modern city named London has since grown far beyond the City of London boundary. The city is now only a tiny part of the metropolis of London, though it remains a notable part of central London. Administratively, it forms one of the 33 local authority districts of London; however, the City of London is not a London borough, a status reserved for the other 32 districts (including London's only other city, the City of Westminster). It is also a separate ceremonial county, being an enclave surrounded by Greater London, and is the smallest ceremonial county in the United Kingdom.

The City of London is widely referred to simply as the City (differentiated from the phrase "the city of London" by capitalising City) and is also colloquially known as the Square Mile, as it is 1.12 sq mi (716.80 acres; 2.90 km2) in area. Both of these terms are also often used as metonyms for the United Kingdom's trading and financial services industries, which continue a notable history of being largely based in the city. The name London is now ordinarily used for a far wider area than just the city. London most often denotes the sprawling London metropolis, or the 32 London boroughs, in addition to the City of London itself. This wider usage of London is documented as far back as 1888, when the County of London was created."

i have been waiting ages to revisit my "standing in trees shot"

Love his eyes....**sigh**

He's my oldest. I was experimenting with some new sky blue savage paper and he asked if he could have a treat. I told him yes if he would pretend that I took all his treats away...

this is what he gave me :) Pout.

Explored!! Thanks so much! #59

Hey everyone! I appreciate your views, comments, and faves so much! However, if you have nothing available for me to see, and no profile telling me who you are...you're getting blocked! Apparently "pout" is something WIERDOS like to search for, and fave. So, if I inadvertantly block you, please flickrmail me!

"i told you to get up, take your fisheye and get out of here . . ."

Bartender Audette Threesone. This is taking me awhile, still no walls to speak of. There is a six piece Zydeco band, band member, Mister Devereux, who plays the washboard, still needs a head, lots of props I'm cramming onto the bar's 5 ft. long dresser top home. Had to give up some things, ran out of room! Building this diorama with help from Youtube, but still at a loss, as I'm also quite lazy... There will be an array of interesting characters visiting, including stalker-general crazy wierdo Rosie O'Donnell making a few appearances to harass the victim of her love, Katy Dido, Wilson Fisk strolls in to captivate the ladies and bash some heads, Joker and Harley Quinn cause havoc, a few regulars including former stripper, barfly Betsy Chesty, bar skank Cherie B'Longone and many more. Bar mascot, alligator Rurufus roams freely looking for a bite to eat. That's the plan! Oh gawd, I do this to myself ya know...

Two days before the end of summer. I forgot to upload this, but now I remembered :D

This night was amazing. My Aunt had come down from Texas for a couple days just to help my sisters and I because we were having a hard time at home. This was her last night.

It started with a 11 o'clock trip to Denny's filled with laughter, random wierdos who eat at Denny's late at night, cheesecake, and happiness. Then we explored Wal-Mart for a while, and afterwards decided to drive up the mountain that overlooks our valley, which was where this was taken. We got a little scared after a while because it's extremely dark up there, so we went and hung out at the lake for a couple hours, light painting with our cell phone (I should put those in comments) and talking. At 3 AM we went home.

It was an unforgettable night.

i think i'm going to need a bigger tank

they say that kids always have more fun with the box than they do with the thing that comes in it, so tonight i thought that i might put it to the test with my very own Shermin Tank but i think i've grown a little over the years

Chasing the sunset in south west France this evening with more success than yesterday, when I had to be towed out of a ditch by an extremely kind farmer who just happened to be passing in the biggest tractor I've ever seen! The evenings here are perfect - dramatic, and more to the point as I'm coming from Scotland, they're warm!

This cross has a strange, almost pagan feel, but in fact it's a memorial to a dozen local men who fell in the Great War. The open metal construction helps it withstand the winter gales and I think that the odd objects which are part of the structure represent their peacetime occupations.

Downtown Hammond, Indiana that is... on the former Nickel Plate. Shot in the summer of 1979, this downtown may have been in it's seediest state at the time? Weirdness abounded. However the trains were interesting. And BTW...check out that El Camino in the background. I wish it was mine. Shot with the trusty Canon FTb-N on Kodachrome 64.

An exhibition by Neckface & Wierdo Dave @ V1 Gallery - Copenhagen

A mural at Second and Main on a building known as the Cannery Building. The mural was painted by Jeff "Wierdo" Jacobson and Joe Nix in 2012. The subjects are fellow street artists and musicians.

The building was constructed in 1900 and has gone through quite a few changes over the years. The building lost it's third floor in the 1949 earthquake. Union organizers attempting to reform conditions in canneries were gunned down here in 1981. Now, it appears the site is slated for reconstruction.

I was approached by the 'church wardon' with a 500 trillion candle light which he unnecessarily fried my facial hair and temporarily blinded me for 3 weeks whilst packing kit away (yes, I did s''t myself whilst trying to regain my vision) he was much relieved that I wasn't a thug stealing the lead from the church tops, but also baffled why he received 4 phone calls from the locals explaining to him that there was some paranormal and weird lights that occupied around the rested bodies of the grave yard.

It was a hair raising experience, and also good to know that neighbourhood watch isn't a myth, (or that people have got f''k all better to do with their time other than to investigate a wierdo painting himself in the pitch black next to dead bodies.... tut..... I mean... whats wrong with that???? lol) much enjoyed :)

Every winter, this one tufted duck leaves the Old World where it belongs, and comes back to hang out near San Mateo. New pond this year, but probably the same duck.

Foster City, Ca. Feb. 2025.

This is my tribute to the lovely Lumpy Golightly. As I looked through her photostream I realised that I could not get up to her standard in food shots, nor do I have any quotes that would work as well as hers so I chose this shot and did a variation...

Can you spot the wierdo, the nutter, the strange person etc etc lol

I had so much fun doing this shot and I worked long and hard on it, I hope you enjoy it...
