One more look, this time through the window of my favorite pottery shop/studio In Aalborg, Denmark. Next time, I need to meet the artist who works in such a fantastic setting, creating such incredible whimsy!
Whimsical Nut hatch is an entertaining songbird known for
walking upside down going up or down a tree. They are
territorial and feed mostly on ants, bugs and nuts.
They have a loud, simple song and large head with short body but very athletic and mostly nest in trees.
Been offline for a while but just catching up...
Taraxacum is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, which consists of species commonly known as dandelions. They are native to Eurasia and North America, but the two commonplace species worldwide, T. officinale and T. erythrospermum, were introduced from Europe and now propagate as wildflowers.
Both species are edible in their entirety.T he common name dandelion (from French dent-de-lion, meaning "lion's tooth") is given to members of the genus. Like other members of the Asteraceae family, they have very small flowers collected together into a composite flower head. Each single flower in a head is called a floret. In part due to their abundance along with being a generalist species, dandelions are one of the most vital early spring nectar sources for a wide host of pollinators.

The work of a clever artist from Denmark once again! His work is just priceless, and he obviously has a warped but whimsical sense of humor.
By Brooklyn born artist Liza Lou. Five years in the making this whimsical kitchen is made of wood, plaster, found objects and thousands of beads. There is much to take away—a woman’s place is in the home, why not make it dazzling? It’s actually a take on advertising to women in the 50’s and 60’s when domestic chores were promoted as women’s work only. There are many subtle messages and quite a few not so subtle. Definitely worth a look. At the Whitney Museum; part of the Arts and Crafts exhibit.
