They are teaching children of all ages about the importance of eating more quality #greensuperfood in amber glass bottles from Pines with those special metal caps that allow the company to remove the oxygen to prevent the nutrient loss that occurs with cheap plastic tubs or packets.
They are also pointing out how buying products in plastic encourages companies that don't care about our planet to keep bringing in more and more plastic that often ends up in our oceans and landfills as sharp shards that kill wildlife and slowly erode, polluting the Earth with petrochemical #toxins.

The summer following a fire, Elymus cinereus along with Elymus elymoids, Agropyron dasystachyum, and Poa secunda (and not necessarily Bromus tectorum) respond very well. Here a coyote seems to want to hang out around the taller bunches of Elymus cinereus. [rd28 between pbf and mfc.]

Western wheatgrass is one of the most common native grasses in steppe vegetation of Montana and apparently thrives in overstocked areas. A spreading rhizomatous growth habit, leaves and stems that are usually bluegreen, and glumes that narrowly attenuate into a sharp curved tip are distinctions of this native grass species. This site lies long the trail at the north end of Burke Park, Bozeman, Montana.
Wheatgrass juice: Learn how to reap the benefits of this superfood.
Wheatgrass is a food prepared from the cotyledons of the common wheat plant, Triticum aestivum, a species in the family Poaceae.
The way wheatgrass in the research was planted is the same as how wheat has been planted for thousands of years. The seeds must be spaced so the roots can spread out. If the seeds are too close together, the roots have no place to go, the leaves become pale, thin and have very low nutrition compared to properly grown wheatgrass. When seeds are spaced right next to each other in trays and grown indoors, not only is the nutritional content much lower, but mold and bacteria grow in the hot house conditions and the crowded root conditions and lack of sunlight reaching down into the soil around each plant. Mold and bacteria are not a problem when wheatgrass is grown as nature intended.
Note the subulate glumes with a slightly curved long-attentuate tip and glabrous lemmas of western wheatgrass.

Horticulturist Margot White grew wheatgrass in the shape of 350 to promote growing plants as a solution to climate change and to urging politicians to pass clean energy policies that get us back below 350 parts per million CO2.
This was one of over 7,000 climate action events taking place in in 188 countries around the world on 10/10/10 as part of “The Global Work Party.”
This synchronized international event is organized by 350.org, and is expected to be the largest day of environmental activism in history.

If you have seen pictures of other companies harvesting cereal grass such as wheat grass or barley grass, you probably have saw a much taller plant that what you saw in the previous picture. The reason wheatgrass takes nearly 200 days of slow growth in cold weather to reach high nutritional levels is because that nutrition supplies the seed head (joint) with nourishment as it moves up within the stalk getting bigger with every millimeter of growth. All research shows that to have the highest nutritional value, wheatgrass needs to be havested while the joint is still at or below ground level.
