I'm not sure I made the best of this beautiful field in Dorset as I was in a rush to get to another location.
Taken late in the day shortly before sunset.
Took a scenic detour on the drive from Sioux Falls to Fargo. This scene in Northeast South Dakota was a welcome deviation from the interstate.

The eyes (ayes) have it… Situated just 300m from one of Bourton-on-the-Water’s main car parks, Greystones is home to wildflower meadows, Iron Age ramparts, a replica Iron Age roundhouse, working organic farm, and an interactive Discovery Barn.
Salmonsbury Camp, the site of Europe’s earliest known towns, is a scheduled monument located at Greystones in the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire. It is recognised as a good example of an Iron Age fortified enclosure and for the extensive archaeological finds collected from the site. People have met, lived and farmed this site continuously for over 6000 years; the site has fascinated archaeologists for centuries.
The replica Iron Age Roundhouse took five months, or about 9,000 hours to build; the structure was created from oak, hazel and ash; and 3.5 tonnes of wheat straw thatch make up the conical shaped roof.
