Das Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen ist ein am Bodensee gelegenes archäologisches Freilichtmuseum,dass archäologische Funde und Nachbauten von Pfahldörfern aus der Stein- und Bronzezeit präsentiert. Es umfasst zur Zeit 23 Pfahlbauten. 2011 wurden die Pfahlbauten am Bodensee aufgrund Ihrer hervorragenden Erhaltung unter Wasser zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe der Menschheit erklärt. Sie werden als aussagekräftige Überreste von Siedlungen der Stein- und Bronzezeit (5. – 1. Jahrtausend v. Chr.) in der archäologischen Forschung sehr geschätzt.
The Lake Dwelling Museum in Unteruhldingen is an open-air archaeological museum located on Lake Constance that presents archaeological finds and replicas of lake dwellings from the Stone and Bronze Ages. It currently comprises 23 pile dwellings. In 2011, the Lake Constance pile dwellings were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site of Humanity due to their outstanding preservation under water. They are highly valued in archaeological research as significant remains of settlements from the Stone and Bronze Ages (5th - 1st millennium BC).

Der Pagodenwald liegt westlich des Inle-Sees und ist über einen Kanal erreichbar. Die ältesten Grab-Stupas dieses Friedhofs stammen aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, aber auch heute noch werden neue Stupas gebaut. Immer mehr alte Monumente sind inzwischen renoviert, und so hat sich ein buntes Gemisch aus Gold, Stuck und nacktem, manchmal bewachsenem Backstein entwickelt.

The pagoda forest is west of Inle Lake and can be reached via a canal. The oldest tomb stupas in this cemetery date back to the 17th century[1] but new stupas are still being built today. More and more old monuments have now been renovated, resulting in a colorful mix of gold, stucco and bare, sometimes overgrown brick.
In winter, the rice terraces are free from plants, so that the light often reflected in various colors of the sky. When we arrived at the viewpoint pulled fog over the rice fields, but towards the afternoon (as in the picture) the fog lifted .
I think it is a hard work to plant all this fields with rice. With machines may not be working there. The non- water-filled terraces are usually planted with potatoes .
Im Winter sind die Reisterrassen frei von Pflanzen, so dass sich das Licht oft in verschiedenen Farben des Himmels spiegelt. Als wir am Aussichtspunkt ankamen zog Nebel über die Reisfelder, der sich aber zum Nachmittag hin (wie auf dem Bild) lichtete.
Ich denke, es ist ein hartes Stück Arbeit, die vielen Felder mit Reis zu bepflanzen. Mit Maschinen geht dort überhaupt nichts. Die nicht mit Wasser gefüllten Terrassen werden meist mit Kartoffeln bepflanzt.

Victoria ist eine Pflanzengattung in der Familie der Seerosengewächse (Nymphaeaceae), die aufgrund ihrer enormen Blattgröße im deutschen auch Riesenseerosen genannt werden. Kurz bevor ich von Bayern weggezogen bin, war ich das letzte Mal im Botanischen Garten in Erlangen. Ich wurde von Mutter Natur beschenkt mit einer seltenen Fotografie der Victoria-Seerose. Viele Jahre hatte ich im Botanischen Garten in Erlangen fotografiert und hatte niemals die Möglichkeit gehabt die Victoria-Blüte zu sehen, da normalerweise nur Nachts die Blüte aufgeht und es die Öffnungszeiten nicht zuließ, diese wunderbare Blüte zu fotografieren. Es war ein kühler Morgen und ich war überrascht als ich die offene Blüte der Victoria sehen durfte.

Victoria is a genus in the family Nymphaeaceae (Nymphaeaceae), called because of their enormous size sheet in German giants lilies. Just before I moved away from bavaria, I was the last time at the Botanical Garden in Erlangen. I was gifted by Mother Nature with a rare photograph of the Victoria lily. For many years I had photographed at the Botanical Garden in Erlangen and had never had the opportunity, the Victoria Bloom to see because usually only at night the flower opens and did not allow the opening times to photograph this wonderful flower. It was a cool morning and I was surprised when I could see the open flower of Victoria.

فيكتوريا هو جنس في الأسرة نيلوفرية (نيلوفرية)، وتسمى لما لها من حجم ورقة هائلة في الزنابق العملاقة الألمانية. قبل انتقلت بعيدا من بافاريا، وكانت آخر مرة في حديقة النباتات في الاحتفالات. كنت الموهوبين من قبل الطبيعة الأم مع صورة نادرة من فيكتوريا زنبق. لسنوات عديدة كنت قد صورت في حديقة النباتات في الاحتفالات ولم أكن الفرصة، فيكتوريا بلوم لنرى لأن عادة إلا في الليل زهرة تفتح ولم تسمح أوقات فتح لتصوير هذه الزهرة الرائعة. وكان صباح بارد وفوجئت عندما كنت أرى زهرة مفتوحة فيكتوريا.
متعة النظر.
Valley wird dank seiner gewagten und individuellen Architektur ein echter Blickfang sein. Das Gebäude, dessen blühende Innenhöfe eine auffallend grüne "Fassaden-Landschaft" schaffen, wird Büros, Wohnungen und Einrichtungen beherbergen. Es befindet sich an der Beethovenstraat, gegenüber von ABN AMRO und neben dem Sportpark Goed Genoeg (AFC).
Valley trägt dazu bei, den Wunsch der Gemeinde zu erfüllen, ein vielseitiges Stadtviertel zu entwickeln, in dem die Menschen leben, arbeiten und sich aufhalten können. Vom Erdgeschoss bis zum siebten Stockwerk wird das Gebäude Büros, Kultureinrichtungen, Einzelhandel, gastronomische Einrichtungen und den Zugang zu den Wohntürmen beherbergen. Im Wohnteil - ab der achten Etage - werden 196 Wohnungen mit einer Größe von 55 m² bis 700 m² entstehen, die praktisch alle zur Miete angeboten werden.
Das Hauptmerkmal des Entwurfs ist die überwältigende Fülle an Grünflächen, die in Verbindung mit der Steinverkleidung den Eindruck eines üppigen grünen Tals erwecken. Der Innenhofgarten, der sich in den unteren Stockwerken des Gebäudes befindet und für alle zugänglich ist, verstärkt diesen Effekt noch. Die verschiedenen Ebenen des Innenhofgartens sind durch Treppen miteinander verbunden.
Valley will be a real eye-catcher thanks to its daring and individualistic architecture. The building, whose flourishing patios create a striking green ‘facade-landscape’, will accommodate offices, residences and facilities. Valley helps to fulfil the municipality’s desire to develop a multifaceted city district for people to live, work and visit. The main feature of the design is the overwhelming abundance of greenery, which combines with the stone finishing to give it the look and feel of an exuberant green valley. Gray Woodpecker
Grau- und Grünspechte werden häufig verwechselt. Beide sind von der Farbe ihres Federkleides nicht zu unterscheiden.
Das sicherste Unterscheidungsmerkmal ist der schwarze Streifen, der beim Grauspecht vom Schnabel nur bis zum Auge reicht. Beim Grünspecht ist er breiter und ragt über das Auge hinaus.
Beim männlichen Grauspecht ist nur der Vorderscheitel bis zur Kopfmitte rot. Beim männlichen Grünspecht ist die gesamte Kopfoberseite bis zum Nacken rot.
Der Grünspecht nimmt seit 20 Jahren kontinuierlich zu, während der sehr viel seltenere Grauspechtbestand eher abnimmt.
Gray and green woodpeckers are often confused. Both are indistinguishable from the color of their plumage.
The safest distinguishing feature is the black stripe, which in the gray woodpecker only extends from the beak to the eye. In the green woodpecker, it is wider and protrudes beyond the eye.
In the male gray woodpecker, only the front part is red up to the middle of the head. In the male green woodpecker, the entire top of the head up to the neck is red.
The green woodpecker has been increasing continuously for 20 years, while the much rarer gray woodpecker population is declining.

Wenn die Nacht hereinbricht werden früher stark besuchte Orte zu ruhigen Stellen und der See kommt zur Ruhe. Hier saßen Menschen dicht an dicht. Kurz darauf lag der Steg fast verlassen da, nur ein einzelner Mann saß noch ganz vorne und schien zu meditieren. Mitten in der Langzeitaufnahme stand er auf und ging. Zurück blieb nur ein Schatten....

Damit das Foto etwas Pepp erhält habe ich mit dem Programm -Luminar golden day- und mit Topas... etwas nachgeholfen.
Nur noch drei Tage und wir werden das 2020 hinter uns lassen. Was und ob uns das Neue Jahr bringen wird, wissen wir nicht. Wir haben aber die Hoffnung, dass das Jahr 2021 mit dem neuen Impfstoff uns ein Stück Normalität zurück geben wird. Vielleicht haben wir durch die Pandemie gelernt das ICH in den Hintergrund treten zu lassen und wieder das WIR mehr zu achten. Das wäre ein Wunsch für die kommende Zeit.

To give the photo some pep, I used the programme -Luminar and golden day- and Topas.... and Topas.
Only three more days and we will leave 2020 behind us. We don't know what and if the New Year will bring us. But we have hope that the year 2021 with the new vaccine will give us back a bit of normality. Perhaps the pandemic will have taught us to let the "I" take a back seat and to pay more attention to the "we" again. That would be a wish for the coming time.

Pour que la photo obtienne un peu de Pepp que j'ai avec le programme -Luminaire et jour d'or- et avec Topas... et Topaz.
Plus que trois jours et nous laisserons l'année 2020 derrière nous. Nous ne savons pas si la nouvelle année nous apportera quoi que ce soit. Mais nous avons l'espoir que 2021, avec le nouveau vaccin, nous redonnera un peu de normalité. Peut-être avons-nous appris, à travers la pandémie, à laisser le "je" passer à l'arrière-plan et à respecter davantage le "nous". Ce serait un souhait pour la période à venir.

Die dunkle und kaltfeuchte Zeit braucht Farbe, damit wir nicht trübsinnig werden.
Ich wünsche Euch Gesundheit, seid weiterhin achtsam damit wir in diesem Jahr wieder etwas Normalität zurück erhalten können. Wir, meine Familie und ich , sind geboostert, wir haben die Impfung gut vertragen und fühlen uns damit sicherer. Eine Maske tragen wir sobald wir unser zu Hause verlassen. The fields and trees still look a bit desolate, and the lush green of the meads and meadows has not yet returned. But nature is already in the starting blocks. Soon we will be able to spend balmy evenings in nature again. Like this one from last summer, on the banks of the river Elbe.
Noch sehen die Felder und die Bäume etwas trostlos aus, noch ist das satte Grün der Wiesen und Auen nicht zurück gekehrt. Doch die Natur steht schon in den Startlöchern. Bald werden wir wieder laue Abende in der Natur verbringen können. So wie dieser hier vom letzten Sommer, am Ufer der Elbe.

Ich glaube, das könnte mein bestes Bild 2020 werden. Wenn man bedenkt, dass es freihand mit Smartphone entstanden ist, dann erkennt man was die Technik in den letzten Jahren für einen Sprung gemacht hat.
I think this image will become one of my best in 2020. Considering that it was taken by my smartphone without any tripod one can imagine how far technology has come in the last years.

Die U-4 wird auch Baby-Linie genannt, ist die kürzeste U-Bahnliinie in Berlin, Sie ist 2,9 km. kurz und hat 5 Bahnhöfe die unterirdisch erreichbar sind. Start ist der Innsbrucker Platz, Zielbahnhof der Nollendorf-Platz, sie ist die Schöneberg Bahn.
Auf dem Foto links,ragt das Rathaus Schönberg in den Himmel. Im Ententeich spiegelt sich die Carl Zuckmayer Brücke. Unter der Brücke ist der U-Bahnhof "Rathaus Schöneberg"
Die Brücke und der U-Bahnhof mußten wegen des morastigen-sumpfingen Untergrund saniert werden -1995-2005-. Bei den schwierigen Arbeiten mußten die zum Teil morschen und verfaulten Eichenpfähle durch 21 Meter lange Betonpfähle ersetzt werden. Die umfangreiche und langwierigen Sanierungsarbeiten waren notwendig weil das Gebiet um ca. sechzig Zentimeter abgesackt war.
"Die U-Bahn-Linie U4 teilt den Park in einen östlichen und einen westlichen Abschnitt. Die Ingenieure nutzten die gesamte Parkbreite für die Anlage des U-Bahnhofs, der hier mit seinen beiden verglasten Seiten offen zum Park liegt und zu den schönsten U-Bahnhöfen der Stadt zählt. Die U-Bahn fährt unterirdisch bis zur Parkrinne und tritt im Park an die vom Bahnhof umbaute Oberfläche, um auf der anderen Bahnhofs- und Parkseite wieder unter die Erde zu tauchen."Wikipedia

The U-4, also called the Baby Line, is the shortest underground line in Berlin. It is 2.9 km. short and has 5 underground stations. It starts at Innsbrucker Platz and ends at Nollendorf-Platz, the Schöneberg Bahn.
In the photo on the left, Schönberg Town Hall rises into the sky. The Carl Zuckmayer Bridge is reflected in the duck pond. Under the bridge is the underground station "Rathaus Schöneberg".
The bridge and the underground station had to be renovated because of the swampy subsoil -1995.2005 -. During the difficult work, the partly rotten and decayed oak piles had to be replaced by 21-metre-long concrete piles. The extensive and lengthy remediation work was necessary because the area had subsided by about sixty centimetres.

Diese hier muss sich vermutlich inzwischen selber versorgen, aber sie hofft natürlich immer noch, dass die Eltern mit Futter kommen.

Das MNAC zeigt Malerei und Skulpturen aus 1000 Jahren katalanischer Kultur. Von romanischen Kirchenfresken über gotische Skulpturen, Malerei der Renaissance und des Barock, sowie Skulpturen und Malerei der Moderne – darunter auch die Sammlung Thyssen-Bornemisza.
Die Abteilungen der Moderne sowie der Renaissance und des Barock wurden in den letzten Jahren neu gestaltet. Die Kunst kann jetzt in einer einheitlichen, sehr schönen Atmosphäre genossen werden.
Das MNAC bietet einen informativen Audioguide, der die ungewöhnliche Präsentation der Kirchenfresken erklärt und die wichtigsten Kunstwerke bespricht. In der Mittelalterabteilung kann man außerdem mithilfe eines 3D-Monitors die Fassade einer Kirche betrachten.
Auch die Architektur – sowohl außen als auch innen – ist spektakulär! Vor allem die Kuppel im ersten Stock als auch der Festsaal, der 5000 m² groß ist und Platz für 20.000 Menschen bietet. Der Besuch des MNAC wird mit einer grandiosen Aussicht auf die Plaça Espanya abgerundet.

Büffel werden in der chinesischen Kultur als die harten Arbeiter im Hintergrund geschätzt. Aufgrund der Rolle des Büffels in der Landwirtschaft werden diesem Tierkreiszeichen Eigenschaften wie Fleiß und Ehrlichkeit, Geduld und Ausdauer zugeschrieben, sie werden als intelligent und zuverlässig angesehen.
Nach Ansicht der chinesichen Astrologie verspricht das Jahr des Metall-Büffels ein günstiges Jahr für die wirtschaftliche Erholung zu werden. Also genau das, wonach sich alle „Menschen unter dem Himmel“, wie es in China heißt, nach dem verganenen Jahr sehnen.

You might wonder about the title. Well, what you see in the photo is the river Spree taking one of its many bends across Berlin, and this particular area that you can see on the opposite river bank is also called "Spree-Bogen", "Spree bend". This area used to be the home of the Meierei C. Bolle (dairy farm C. Bolle) that was founded in 1879 during one of Berlins particularly strong periods of growth. The two glass towers belong to an U-shaped building ensemble that was the (rented!) seat of our Federal Ministry of the Interior from 1999 - 2015.
This is one of the images that needed time to "develop". I've tried several different processing approaches over the past months, and I was never really happy with any of the results, because I always found the sky too blue, the image too bright, the clouds not nice enough... I once even replaced the sky in Luminar, but didn't like that, either. So back to the original sky, and just the other day, when I gave it another go, I finally stumbled upon the solution. In a first new version I had processed the image in HDR Efex, kind of liked it, but still found the image too bright. Just for fun, and for comparison purposes, I decided to also process the image in Aurora HDR, tried a few of my favourite presets that I use as starting point in Aurora, and... Bingo! In the "Dramatic" preset collection, there's a preset called "Sleepy Drama" which desaturates the blue tones and adds a darker look to any image – and that did it, at least for me. I still tweaked the preset's settings to my liking, and, in Color Efex, added some Brilliance and Warmth. I hope you like the image :)

Bolle reiste jüngst zu Pfingsten...
Blick auf das Spree-Bogen-Areal, gelegen an einem von sehr vielen Spreebögen durch Berlin. Auf diesem Areal wurde 1879, während einer besonders starken Wachstumsphase Berlins, die Meierei C. Bolle erbaut, deren Gründer Carl Bolle allerdings nichts mit dem bekannten (und so lustig wie hintergründig makabren) Bolle-Lied zu tun hat, dessen gesamten Text (bitte alle Strophen lesen, es lohnt sich) Ihr hier finden könnt: STRG/CTRL+ de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolle_reiste_jüngst_zu_Pfingsten. Es passt nur gerade so schön zu Pfingsten ;)
Die beiden Glastürme sind Teil des U-förmig gestalteten Spree-Bogen-Gebäudes, das von 1999 bis 2015 das Bundesministerium des Innern beherbergte (zur Miete!). Diese Bild hat sprichwörtlich Zeit zum Entwickeln gebraucht, ich habe über die Monate immer mal wieder diverse Ansätze ausprobiert, aber es hatte bislang nie richtig "Klick" gemacht, immer war mir der Himmel zu blau, das Bild zu hell, die Wolken nicht schön genug... Einmal habe ich sogar in Luminar den Himmel ausgetauscht, was mir aber auch nicht gefallen hat und sowieso nur eine Notlösung sein sollte, weshalb ich schlussendlich doch beim Original-Himmel geblieben bin.
Kürzlich habe ich dann noch einmal einen Anlauf in HDR Efex gestartet, was mir schon recht gut gefiel, mir aber immer noch zu hell war. Nur aus Spaß und auch zum direkten Vergleich habe ich mich dann noch durch meine Lieblings-Presets in Aurora HDR geklickt. Meistens nehme ich in Aurora eines der "Dramatic"- oder "Artistic"-Presets als Ausgangspunkt für die weitere Bearbeitung. Hier war es das "Sleepy Drama", das – endlich – den Knoten löste. Für den "sleepy" Look werden die Blautöne entsättigt und für das "Drama" wird die Tonwertkurve in Richtung Tiefen korrigiert. Ich habe dann noch eigene Anpassungen vorgenommen und abschließend in Color Efex etwas "Brilliance and Warmth" hinzugefügt. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich recht zufrieden, zufrieden genug jdf., um es Euch zu zeigen. Ich hoffe, das Bild gefällt Euch auch :)
