I just wanted to let everyone know that my Under Sail pictures are still being shown at Rocca Sorrentina. The next artist isn't quite ready to show yet so they asked if I would like keep keep my pictures up in the Showcase Gallery. So they should still be up for a couple more weeks. THANKS CANDACE!!!!! - OH!!!!! It's also been confirmed that I will be doing another showing of more of my pictures in this gallery around Easter!!!!

I've wanted to go up that mountain for a while, I finally did that last weekend. I couldn't stay very long but it was worth it! ( I put on the dress when I got to the top).

LNER A4 Pacific Class no 60009 Union of South Africa coasts the past the site of the old Bolton Percy station, hauling The Yorkshireman.
This excursion, run by The Railway Touring Company is probably my last shot of #9 on the main line. Presumably others too, given the amount of wellwishers out to record the event.
The celebrated Gresley A4 Pacific 60009 is now nearing the end of its final year of main line operation, following recent extension.
It was withdrawn from BR service on June 1st, 1965 having accumulated the highest mileage of the whole class.
Following withdrawal it was purchased by John Cameron, a former chairman of Scotrail.
It is now lined up to be a static exhibit.

Two days after Luton Town Football Club secured a historical place in the English Premier League, after beating Coventry at Wembley, the team carried out an open top bus tour from their ground to St George's Square, in front of thousands of supporters and well-wishers, before attending an event in the Civic Centre.
Rob Edwards, the Luton manager, stands on the balcony of the Civic Centre.
