Welfleet has numerous ponds of different shapes.....delightful to swim in and even a frog sighting from time to time. Our routine during the vacation week is to bike out to a pond and swim......after breakfast. This morning I did a little painterly sliding in PSE and then Topaz on one of these idyllic ponds.

Blue sky over our dentist's office in Wellfleet early this afternoon. This is a community in the Outer Cape, which comprises the towns of Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provinicetown.

From a distance the cliff is a drab grey and brown, but look close to see harmonious blues and yellows with subtle to striking variations in texture and pattern in the clay cliff walls of Newcomb Hollow Beach. At the base of the cliff is the contrasting light sea-washed beige sand mixed with bands of purple crushed shells and other matter.
