Taken from the ferry with Ketron Island in the foreground, this lens finally does justice to just how immense Mt. Rainier looks. - taken with Tamron 150-600 lens
Determined to take one photo (at least) per week in 2021. This is from our normal lockdown walk in Yarnfield, Staffordshire, UK

Such a pain in the "patootie" when your kid can read you like a book. Especially when I'm right smack dab in the middle of a "fake it til you make it" slump. What's wrong, mama...it's not anything I did, is it?..."
We are so much alike, but it's definitely an added responsibility when your kid is in your head...
I turn 50 in 2019, so it was clear a new photo challenge project was in order. The first prompt in the #Dogwood52 challenge is 'take a picture that tells us who you are, without actually showing your face.' So, here's 50 things about me!

CC very very welcomed:P
This is a blatant lie, but I thought I might convince myself if I wrote it down ;-)
Thanks, Nance! I'm still having a lot of fun with these images :D
A stack of books on a rainy miserable day equals good intentions for this year. The piano hiding in the background is another of my good intentions. I'm not sure I'll get to that one this year.

Many thanks for every kind comment, fave, your words of encouragement, and the inspiration of your fine photography,
my Flickr friends! You make my day every day!
I joined another 52 project. During the winter, we get no sunlight at my house and I tend to not even want to pull my camera out, but I'm hoping this will inspire me.
One of my resolutions for 2012 is to try and take more photos of my boys together. When I look through my albums these pictures are the ones I most cherish, seeing them playing together so happy.
I needed a new point and shoot. Something I could have on me at all times. As we know the trusty phone cameras are not all they are cracked up to be. This bad boy is waterproof, cold proof up to 14 degrees F, and can be used in the ocean! Very excited to see what I can do with it this year!

It’s time to commit again.. so this is week 1 of 52 weeks… ok not a 365 but at least I’m committing back to something no? Will I make it? Sure, piece of cake…will I hate it at some point? Probably… what will happen in 52 weeks for me? I don’t want to be scared of what the future holds for me anymore… what ever it is… good or bad… bring it on…
I have to pick up my camera again... that's all I know right now... even if it is once a week... I miss it...soooo you’ll have me once a week … Hope you like it…
Welcome to Maria’s 52 weeks…
Using a simple torch and 5sec exposure with a 2sec delay. Me, one of the 'bad kids' who smoke, likes to slide into anonymity and approaches things with a black and white attitude mingled with greys.
