Week One

Determined to take one photo (at least) per week in 2021. This is from our normal lockdown walk in Yarnfield, Staffordshire, UK

Be whoever you have to be, I won't judge you.

On the side note:

Hello guys, it's been a little while and i'm back for good. For those who have missed me, i've missed you guys too! It's gonna be a fresh start here .

She's not self-absorbed

Such a pain in the "patootie" when your kid can read you like a book. Especially when I'm right smack dab in the middle of a "fake it til you make it" slump. What's wrong, mama...it's not anything I did, is it?..."

We are so much alike, but it's definitely an added responsibility when your kid is in your head...

Week 1 Story: Rule of Thirds

#dogwood2017 week1 story telling with rule of thirds

sweat and inle lake water :)

CC very very welcomed:P

This is a blatant lie, but I thought I might convince myself if I wrote it down ;-)

Thanks, Nance! I'm still having a lot of fun with these images :D

I needed a new point and shoot. Something I could have on me at all times. As we know the trusty phone cameras are not all they are cracked up to be. This bad boy is waterproof, cold proof up to 14 degrees F, and can be used in the ocean! Very excited to see what I can do with it this year!

May the New Year bring each of you good health, happiness, and dreams come true.

My boyfriend gave me this OM-10 film camera as a gift for Christmas and it's really cool.

Dogwood52 Week#1

I often play the one word game instead of making a resolution or two or three. This year it was easy to chose.

Clarity, in keeping with 2020 vision. Pun intended.

I can use this word to focus, and clearly define what is essential. Family, friends, and health are always priorities. The question I ask myself is how can I use this word, clarity, to help me decide what has meaning and value in my life? Here’s to being uncomplicated yet explicit. And, to experience as many sunsets as possible.

A stack of books on a rainy miserable day equals good intentions for this year. The piano hiding in the background is another of my good intentions. I'm not sure I'll get to that one this year.

The first of my 52 weeks project.

&just a side note, that rainbow appeared because i was shooting through a window, its not edited in.

Nothing fresher than a bath and a new onesie. Edited with PTM Luminosity Collection.

I joined another 52 project. During the winter, we get no sunlight at my house and I tend to not even want to pull my camera out, but I'm hoping this will inspire me.

One of my resolutions for 2012 is to try and take more photos of my boys together. When I look through my albums these pictures are the ones I most cherish, seeing them playing together so happy.
