From the beginning Kristin & Rishi's wedding was going to be memorable, all packed into a 2-day wedding event! They really wanted to keep a modern look & feel with a really clean design. We took the navy blue from their J.Crew bridesmaid dresses paired with a clean white & grey palette. Their initials formed an iconic wedding logo throughout the additional inserts. The thin lines of the "+" created a repetitive element throughout. Paying homage to Rishi's Indian heritage a special Hindu Ceremony was also to take place on Saturday & we brought in henna elements & changed the color palette to more burnt orange, red & yellow. This grand event deserved & an equally grand invitation & it did just that. A perfect square 7 x 7 invitation arrived to guest & definitely set the tone.

I totally stole the "So You're Going to Sit Through a Wedding" program idea from the Offbeat Bride site, wrote up my own copy, and my cousin-in-law did the layout.

Our wedding program was created by hand by artist and dear friend, Jeaneen Gauthier. The program was bound with sparkly metallic thread and listed the bridal party, all of the readers, musicians and their respective pieces, as well as the lyrics to "This Land Is Your Land"!!! ALL rendered in Jeaneen's lovely hand done calligraphy!!!
The clowns were a symbol of Joan and Tom's first song choice for their ceremony, "Send In The Clowns", and the coffin represented the actual coffin that was used to release red balloons after they were pronounced man and wife!
This very elegant set contains, program, place cards and adorable tissue card. All printed on ivory card stock and backed with an opal shimmer paper.
