Some people asked why my cardigan was purple. I would have liked to have worn all purple, but decided that might be a little too much for my mom. I did everything else my way, I let her win this one. The dress turned out very wintery, which was what I wanted, it looked like it was covered in ice crystals. Still, I am not a dress girl, and it felt so good to take that thing off!
While I was shooting a wedding in Colorado Springs, my associate photographer (and husband) Joey was at the Sanctuary of Spiritual Living in Covina to help Kathryn & Jody with their wedding photography. Congratulations, Kat & Jody, and thanks for letting us celebrate with you!

The ranch being a civic site, you can commission a brick to be placed on the center aisle in memory of any particular event, like, say, a wedding. It costs a not-so-modest fee, true, but it's a nice idea nonetheless.
