This is a custom pendant of my logo, which was generously given to me as a 30th birthday present by a great group of friends of mine!
The logo started off with the eyes - they came from some little characters I used to doodle back in school. When I needed a website logo for a university exercise, I took the eyes and put the basketball in the background. Later on, as I started DJing and selling mixtapes I put the headphones around the ball and that became the brand.
Up to this point I'd done all the drawing myself - first by hand, then with some fraught time on Corel Draw :o) About three years back my mate Ruari who is a very talented artist told me he could re-draw it, an offer I gratefully accepted since I didn't have a decent high-res copy - I'd last done it on computer in the days of dial-up, when 1024x768 displays were something to really crow about! He did an excellent job keeping all the shapes and proportions just right but stepping it up to the next level too - and it's this version of the logo which is now immortalised in silver and worn on special occasions.
I'm very lucky to have the friends that I do!

Sorry I have been MIA. I know, shame on me. I've been insanely busy working 2 jobs and trying to edit a couple of weddings and shoots in any spare time I may have. I'm in serious need of a conceptual shoot for fun.
I'm also creating a new business brand for my wedding and child photography so I'm in the process of creating a website, logo, etc. for that. I'll let you all know when that's up and running.
This little girl (above) is insanely cute huh? I saw her in a Safeway and had to ask her father if I could photograph her and her brother. Well my mom asked. I'm a big chicken when it comes to that stuff haha. More from this shoot later. =)

CN GP40-2LW 9410, seen in her almost fresh "zebra scheme" (smell that new paint!) after her recent overhaul in Winnipeg, heads #577 back up the Weston Sub at Torbram Road, returning from interchanging cars with CP at West Toronto on a snowy afternoon.
What's odd here is CN's zebra livery died in the early 90's with the advent of the "CN North America" scheme, which came before the current website/logo scheme everything gets.
So what happened here? Best guess is someone at Transcona Shops had their way with her and for some reason the zebra stripes made a one-time comeback on 9410! That was all good, as 9410 stuck around the Toronto area for a while handling locals, such as 577 (interchange run to CP), and even 559 (one of the Brampton locals), that often got matching pairs of GP40-2LW's on a daily basis.

I've been a professional graphic designer for 3+ years (since I graduated from college) and I've never had a business card made for myself (mostly because I didn't need one). Now that I'm "freelancing," I thought now would be a good time to whip one up.
I had an internal debate with myself whether to put my website logo of a wedgie-eating "butt" on my business card as some people might think it's neither appropriate nor professional, but then I thought if the person I hand out the business card to thinks that, then they're probably too stiff, uptight, and too formal to see the humor in the design. Hence, they're probably not the kind of people I'd want to work with as I kind of think my work aren't those things either.
So the butt logo stays.
This is a tentative design though; I still want to experiment with other designs and layouts (maybe a vertical business card design?) but if procrastination sets in, I think this set is pretty much good to go...
On an aside, anyone know of quality printers in the Makati/Quezon City/Alabang/Las Piñas area who can print double-sided matte finish business cards? I was thinking of using overnightprints.com in the US (really nice quality! I requested for a free sample pack) when the exchange rate was down to P40, but it's back to P44 now, I think, and I'd have to pay for shipping, too which is probably more than I'm willing to spend.

Hello everyone! This is the second time I do a cover for this flawless album. I felt very inspired when I saw her website and suddenly I got this idea. I used a lot of stuff she shared on her website (logos, palms, officials artworks, etc) and also the famous sculpture 'Venus de Milo' by the amazingly sculptor Alexandros of Antioch. Yea! I finally materialized my logo for sewcial butterfly. Equipped with a hot iron transfer marker, 3 colors of embroidery foss and some imagination I spent a few hours and ended up with this. Get it? A butterfly made of S & B? Your opinion and feedback are appreciated.
