CN GP40-2LW 9410, seen in her almost fresh "zebra scheme" (smell that new paint!) after her recent overhaul in Winnipeg, heads #577 back up the Weston Sub at Torbram Road, returning from interchanging cars with CP at West Toronto on a snowy afternoon.
What's odd here is CN's zebra livery died in the early 90's with the advent of the "CN North America" scheme, which came before the current website/logo scheme everything gets.
So what happened here? Best guess is someone at Transcona Shops had their way with her and for some reason the zebra stripes made a one-time comeback on 9410! That was all good, as 9410 stuck around the Toronto area for a while handling locals, such as 577 (interchange run to CP), and even 559 (one of the Brampton locals), that often got matching pairs of GP40-2LW's on a daily basis.

I drew this with pencil back in 1995. I drew the scenery from sitting on the riverbank. I drew the osprey from a photograph I took. Enlarge to see the details. The White Mountain Audubon Society used my drawing of the osprey for their newsletter and website logo (whitemountainaudubon.org).
I've been a professional graphic designer for 3+ years (since I graduated from college) and I've never had a business card made for myself (mostly because I didn't need one). Now that I'm "freelancing," I thought now would be a good time to whip one up.
I had an internal debate with myself whether to put my website logo of a wedgie-eating "butt" on my business card as some people might think it's neither appropriate nor professional, but then I thought if the person I hand out the business card to thinks that, then they're probably too stiff, uptight, and too formal to see the humor in the design. Hence, they're probably not the kind of people I'd want to work with as I kind of think my work aren't those things either.
So the butt logo stays.
This is a tentative design though; I still want to experiment with other designs and layouts (maybe a vertical business card design?) but if procrastination sets in, I think this set is pretty much good to go...
On an aside, anyone know of quality printers in the Makati/Quezon City/Alabang/Las Piñas area who can print double-sided matte finish business cards? I was thinking of using overnightprints.com in the US (really nice quality! I requested for a free sample pack) when the exchange rate was down to P40, but it's back to P44 now, I think, and I'd have to pay for shipping, too which is probably more than I'm willing to spend.
