Duane Gordon Vernissage at Kai Design
Evenkai organized the vernissage for the very talented landscape artist/painter Duane Gordon, whom is based in Montreal. We also help to realize marketing promotional materials for Mister Gordon. The event took place in KAI Design's studio, a Montreal based graphic design studio.

a laundry machine within your apartment is a luxury unaffordable to most people in an urban context and a luxury i have learned to live without for several years. and honestly, i'm okay with that.
once every three weeks (four weeks if i carefully count unmentionables) i trudge down to the local laundry mat and confront my overflowing hamper. darks, lights, colors, towels, all meet their maker in the spin cycle. followed by a tumble in the larger than life dryer and two hours later, the process is complete... my bed has new sheets, my fresh towels are hanging on the rack, and my jeans no longer stand on their own. all is clean again.
so although it would be convenient to have my own speed queen within my rentable space, i must say, i'll choose my two hours at the laundry mat over your constant chore of changing loads at home any day.

My new website is online!!!
The focus of this second version of my website was to generate a never-ending city. The buildings are filling the screen completely in random patterns, regardless the size of your monitor. Even the lighting is randomly switched on and off, creating a lively environment.
Trying to make this site look pretty, not just funtional and having some serious issues with floating. The above is what I've built in illustrator, and here is what I have on the actual site:

The title is floating left, and the pictures hanging right. Looks right. Then I go to hang my "menu" left, and my text/quotes right, and get all kinds of funky stuff. Any ideas? THoughts? I"m way confused and frusterated. Spent way too many hours trying to understand the problem, and I'm absolutely fed up.
We were still using the old frames-based corporate design in early 2001, but our main frame had changed to emphasise our new online services.
And the Magellan for the new Adventures by Disney website, for which I'm Lead Writer. There's a note from our business partner at Global Marketing expressing her happiness.
