"One of the greatest challenges in life is being yourself in a world that's trying to make you like everyone else."

To further free up counter space we ditched the knife block and fit everything sharp (I tend to cut myself reaching into drawers) on one Ikea Grundtal magnetic knife strip.

Thats it. Thats the last social service that involves me adding all my friends in all over again. Life is too chuffing short.

Please, can someone come up with some way of avoiding this repetition of 'buddies'?!

I still gave in of course....

Happy Ugly Sweater Wednesday, Flickr!

So I have about $311 $359 $370 towards my new camera.

And the business who told me that they'd hire me when I turned 16 lied and hired someone else. So back to the job hunt. I'll keep you posted =]

I GOT A JOB TODAY =] Minimum wage baby. God is so good =]

This is my friend Molly's mom's sweater. And I wore it to school today. It was great.

Currently looking for songs to sing for my school's cabaret concert. Looking into something from Aida or Lion King.

OH! And I got my license. After failing the first test... Whoops. =]

Also involved in a lot of new Bible Studies. One is called The Truth Project and it's really philosophical. It's all about "What is truth?" and finding it in the Bible. The guy who runs it is very insightful. Also doing one called "On Guard" about standing up for your faith when someone challenges you. Another one is called "Be Intolerant" about, well, being humbly intolerant. I'm so excited for that one. And one more called "Purity & Femininity" about what it means to be a young woman specifically following God. I'm stoked.

Sorry it's been so long. I hate the way my point and shoot photographs human faces. It's disgusting. So expect a few headless shots for a while =]

I love you all.

Pure Spirits Building

3 Tank House Lane

Located on the east side of Trinity Street, the Pure Spirits group contains seven buildings that are linked physically, functionally, and architecturally. Built in 1873 for alcohol purification (aka, rectification) and storage, these buildings dominate the east side of Trinity Street, define the south side of Tank House Lane, and present some of the finest industrial architecture on the site. Stills were located in the structures fronting on Trinity Street, while storage tanks were located in one-storey warehouses behind. Given the potentially explosive nature of the process, the Pure Spirits buildings contained large amounts of glass and wood that would have blown out to save the buildings. The architect solved the practical problem with unusual elegance.
