This spider was weaving quite a nice web right outside my friends kitchen window. I'm sure she thought I was crazy for shooting a bunch of photos of the spider, but it was just such an amazing opportunity to get good spider shots!

Loic Le Meur (born July 14, 1972) is a French serial entrepreneur and blogger. He served as Executive Vice President EMEA at software company Six Apart after merging French blogging company Ublog with Six Apart in July 2004. In late 2006 Le Meur became a public backer of French presidential candidate Nicolas Sarkozy and joined Sarkozy's campaign team as an advisor on Internet-related topics. Now he lives in San Fransisco and has founded a new compagny Seesmic. Elsewhere by next week he organized with his wife Geraldine Le web3 conference in Paris.

Manoli Scholarship Committee presents a lecture by Michael Kriak C’96 at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, at the Fred M. Rogers Center on the Saint Vincent campus. Kriak’s presentation is entitled, “The Once and Future Internet,” and will discuss “What Web3 and blockchain is trying to get right in the 2020s that the first Internet got wrong in the 1990s.”

 

Kriak currently serves as the media circle global lead for ConsenSys, the leading blockchain venture production studio, and works alongside the technologists and entrepreneurs building and funding solutions for the media and entertainment industry. These initiatives include Civil, a platform for sustainable and trustworthy journalism, and Ujo, a digital rights management platform enabling fairness, transparency and profitability in music and other creative works.
