...... rather build bridges
that connect us,
instead of always
walls that
constrict us

Wir sollten.....

Mauern die uns

Silence can always be broken by the sound of footsteps walking over frozen ground in winter, when the melancholy trees stand abject and let their branches freeze.

Every year around this time, these two Sandhill Cranes' come to our area for a few months. Bucks County PA.
we are mourning the loss of a very popular and vibrant grade 11 student at our school this week and it has been a hard go for his friends...a reminder that they really are not invincible... On explore @#73, May 6/09, up to 50 May7, #45 May 8/09, 41 on May 9
I could not resist and chose this title because these nine mini clothespins (1cm x 4mm in size each) look like dancers in a disco :))

** We had decided not to visit our usual Bluebell woods this Spring. However Mary on a short walk with her friend found some new woods in a most unlikely place . A few years ago a new business Park was built underneath the Humber Bridge and next to the main approach road to Hull. It seems as part of the planning permission they were to preserve an old area of woodland that circles the new development . They have done a great job when you are in the Wood you would have no idea you were so close to a large development . We walked for an hour and the woods were awash with bluebells . It shows you can live in an area for a long time and still be surprised
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT TO MY STREAM. I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL IF YOU COULD NOT FAVE A PHOTO WITHOUT ALSO LEAVING A COMMENT .

" We both made in this not so happy ending fairytale..We both don't get to live happily ever after the main point of it was to see good and evil side by side, Happily joining forces to finally see the peace of mind. Yet death always is the price a villain must pay when his goal is ending the world, Bringing new color into a faded world lost in chaos. The villain was the hero. The hero was the villain. "

I want to be pretty
Tomorrow I'll know that I'm just dirt
Feel the nobodies
Wanna be somebodies
We're dead
We know just who we are!"
It was a nice, fun spring day at the refuge observing the wildlife and taking hundreds of photos! My friends and I had our camera gear packed and we were driving out when "Bubba" decided to make an entrance.
He might have been slow, but he didn't want to pass up his final moment to become flickr famous (at least by me, of course - many other great flickr photographers frequent the refuge 😁 ). So naturally I had to pull over, say hello back and take a few quick snaps of Bubba the snapper. :o)

We’ve seen this beauty before. It’s something of a Frankenstein vehicle. I was just shocked to see it sitting in the snow. In Grafton, ND.
Once we were like sunlight
With nothing in between
Now we share the distance
With shadows at our feet
I’m blinded by desire
A new horizon that I see
I feel the cold of rain drops
Salted by my tears

Well, here they are, all three of them! I think they are talking about the weather and what they will eat tonight ;-))
The song 'We Are Family' by Sister Sledge, just popped up in my head. Enjoy!

We both managed to get out together today, first time in 2 weeks that Daniel has left the house, which was great, really good to see it lifted his spirits. Hopefully do it more often. We met with a friend and had a coffee at Hardwick park and fed the birds, then went to Fishburn airfield and sat outside plane watching. Had a mini-shoot while we were there. Have a wonderful evening all. ❤️
We were camping on the Portage River just west of Hancock, Michigan when I made this image. It was early morning and the wind was still. The sky was blue with mixed clouds.
The brilliant fall colors on the other side of the river are reflected on the top of the image! Clouds and rush stems are reflected on the bottom.
Sometimes you just have to enjoy the color!
Stay safe and healthy everyone!
