Wayne Bennett is the only coach the Brisbane Broncos have had since the club's inception in 1988. He's coached the team to 6 Premiership wins and holds the record as the longest serving coach at any one club in Australian rugby league history. Next year he starts starts coaching the Dragons instead.
Tonie "Tunza" Carroll is a deadset champion of a player. He started playing for the Broncos in '96, and apart from a brief stint playing in the UK, he's played for no other club. He's retiring at the end of this current season.
As this was the final home game of the season, (the Broncos made the finals, but they won't be playing at home), they gave both Wayne and Tonie a sendoff at the end of the game where they made speeches and they showed video montages of their careers, and then they did a lap of honour around the field.
The Broncos scored a try right on full time, so they let Tonie take the kick at conversion, even though kicking isn't his forte. The final score was Broncos 24 - 2, so it didn't really matter that he inevitably missed getting the 2 extra points. The bottom photo in the triptych was taken when he was lining up the kick.
The Newcastle Knights held a public training session ahead of their preliminary final at the the weekend. GO THE KNIGHTS!!!

Maximising achievements and success is always an ongoing process of learning. Here I have to do lists, savings plan, success and motivation books of proven successful people and sudoku puzzles to keep my problem solving skills sharp while I'm on school holidays (which end Tuesday).
