If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten we belong together. ~

We seem to be getting dangerously close to world war! Is it worth it???? Do you have any idea how many people lose everything and are left in complete and utter misery? Why can we not find a way to sit down and discuss our situation, without the power of money and greed? It is beyond time to find a solution and if we don't we have no-one to blame other than ourselves!!
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Images from the JEATH War Museum in Kanchanaburi.
Wikipedia: The JEATH War Museum (Thai: พิพิธภัณฑ์อักษะเชลยศึก) is a war museum in Kanchanaburi, Thailand about the Death Railway built from 1942 to 1943 by Allied POWs under the direction of the Japanese, a part of the Thai-Burma railways.
The acronym JEATH stands for the primary nationalities involved in the construction of the railway: Japanese, English, Australian, American, Thai and Holland, whereas the Thai name is Phíphítháphan Songkhram Wát Tâi (Wat Tai War Museum).
This street shot was taken in Miami a few years ago. I added blue and yellow after that.

''...And so this is Xmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The road is so long
And so happy Xmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let's stop all the fight
A very Merry Xmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear...''

Even vragen hoelaat alles in beweging zou komen.
Constructed in honour of Russia’s victory in the Great Patriotic War (World War II), Park Pobedy offers powerful reminders of Russia’s suffering during the war as well as providing views over the skyscrapers of Moscow. The entrance to the park is marked by a long promenade surrounded by fountains, which leads up to a 142-meter high obelisk covered in representations of scenes from the war. Behind the obelisk there’s also a war memorial museum and further on down the hill an exhibition of tanks, war planes and other heavy weaponry. Beyond that the park stretches on into the forest and down towards a tributary of the Moscow River. It’s great for history buffs and also those who enjoy vast green spaces.

Many people live in their own little world and ignore the big problems like climate protection, war and social injustice!
During our War Horse walk (see previous upload), we did encounter many Dartmoor ponies. This one at least had the same nice brown colour like Joey from the film but missing the white socks and spot on the head. I took this photo next to Drizzlecombe, a fantastic Bronze age settlement with long stone rows, round houses, cists and huge standing stones..very impressive!
The Inveraray War Memorial is to be found on Cross Green, Front Street, Inverray on the harbourside south of the A83. Quoted from the 'Roll of Honour' website.

The Llandudno War Memorial commemorates those men of the area who died in two world wars and takes the form of a high obelisk surmounted by an urn. It stands on the promenade in Prince Edward Square at the top of Gloddaeth Street, Llandudno, North Wales.
The War of The War of 1812 was a conflict fought between the United States of America and the British Empire, from June 1812 to February 1815.
In 1812, Britain's Royal Navy was the world's largest with over 600 cruisers in commission and some smaller vessels. Most of these were involved in blockading the French navy and their allies and protecting British trade against French privateers. The Royal Navy still had 85 vessels in American waters, counting all North American and Caribbean waters.
Located at Mill Pond Meadow in the outskirts of Featherstone is a different war memorial. 353 simple crosses, each representing a member of the local community who didn't return home after the First World War make for a permanent memorial. Each cross has a tree that has been planted at its side. Watching over these memorials is a huge steel War Horse.
The site provides a lovely place to visit, reflect and hope for peace.
