Bjorn Thurgilson was not so strong as he had thought. He had fallen, dead, on Leif's spear, and his last two men had broken under the threat of torture. They had watched Bjorn kill Leif's father. In the end, all of Bjorn's supporters were killed by the overwhelming majority of the crewmen, and their heads placed on the bow. No sooner had they pulled into the dock of Amaravia, then Warric Canuteson, the assistant governor ran alongside the ship. "Lord!" he yelled "I'm so sorry for all this...inconvenience." He did not falter at the sight of his master's head on the bow of the ship, Bjorn had apparently been unliked. "Lord, please come with me, the men will handle the boat and I will take you and you companions." The fear in his voice convinced Leif that he meant no harm. He ran them across the dock and into a castle, Bjorn's palace. It was a wonderful building, with ornate stone and well-manned battlements. "So sorry, lord" Warric stammered. "There's so much to tell you. When your friends arrived just a little while ago, I didn't know what to do. Hamish can be a bit...convincing." Lief smiled at that. "You are alright, Warric Canuteson." At that, Warric stared at the floor, "I'm afraid I gave you a false name, I am really Warric Thurgilson, cousin." Leif looked at him in surprise. He opened his mouth, but Warric pushed open the door to a large armory, which Hamish was inside. Leif and Hamish embraced, and all of the survivors of Leif's settlement poured in. Soon, they were all outfitted in armor, with their pick of the weapons in the armory. Warric then called them into a room, and Leif met, for the first time, his son. "Leif Leifson" he muttered. "Yes lord, and a very healthy boy indeed. Quite the miracle he survived at all." Leif looked at Hamish, who had just told him of the fire. "Lord..." started Warric "Why do you call me lord?" asked Leif, "surely I am not above you." "But Lord, in apologies and in my own inability to run this town and it's surrounding lands, I have granted you about half of my properties." Leif stared aghast. He knew how large that was, over 200 acres of riverside land."Thank you, cousin" he said, embracing Warric. "Of course, lord. And, as much of the land is yet uninhabited, many serfs, soldiers, and even freemen have volunteered to accompany you to live at whatever haven you decide to construct." Leif couldn't believe his ears. He looked down into his crying son's eyes, and promised him that they would forge an empire, together. "Come, lord, to see a map of your lands and those who will be accompanying you," said Warric, and Leif went.

I had a really long story for this, but I accidentally deleted it (oops). Here is the shortened version:

Leif leaves Peter and Thomas with the cart and goes to an old house with small stockade around it. The men there were the best fighting troops of Amaravia, but they fled to the woods when Galainir took over. Under the command of Amaravia's assistant governor, Warric Canuteson, they lived there for the whole duration of Galainir's rule. Leif tells them that Galainir has fled, and they all celebrate. (by the way, warric is the guy with the claymore in the house). After telling them the news, Leif goes back to Peter and Thomas and they start again for the harbor where they are keeping their boat.
