Eagle Hunters of Mongolia

Shot taken at Dunholm

Sheltered, you better keep the wolf back from the door

He wanders ever closer every night

And how he waits begging for blood

I promised you everything would be fine

Eagle Hunters of Mongolia

The then silent night had given way to the screams of pain, terror and the sinister and spiteful laughs of the vampire.

Their swords created through their own blood, with extreme speed fall on their victims dismembering them and decapitating. They didn't even have a chance to fight him with dignity, as they could only feel a sudden strong wind, see a brief figure and then, their bodies were sliced up with such force that their armor felt like paper.

In the sky, the moon shone like a huge, glittering silver scythe, a somewhat apt shape for this night, when he was a reaper and didn't make a point of leaving any poor devil alive. Everyone would pay for standing against him. With grace and extreme savagery their swords continued to fall on those who could no longer flee, who due to such fear, were paralyzed. It was a slaughter. He didn't care, he wouldn't be forgiving or pious tonight, he would be brutal and he insisted on demonstrating all his power, so that no mortal, vampire, or werewolf would ever make a point of rising up against him again. He would allow only the women and children to survive this night, to tell everyone about the horror that had befallen their city. When the animals controlled by a demon invaded the city gates, as if lashed by its invisible whip, and when finally the devil himself descended on them, always almost invisible, like a wind of death, at first tearing with its beastly claws the terrified people of the city, then impaling them, with spears created through their own blood, setting the city ablaze with flames that seemed to arise from hell itself or from your heart aflame with hate. When then the two swords set to fall on them, cutting flesh, amputating limbs and beheading heads.

The city of Khaldheim would be an example to everyone. The fire flickered in the burning houses, like huge insatiable demons wanting to feed on more and more, turning the once majestic houses to ashes. Like the flames, his swords were not content with the pile of dismembered bodies left in his path, like a scarlet wind, he continued to claim lives and as he did, he laughed with delight, for few things gave him more pleasure than wanton killing. His laughter echoed through the air, chilling the blood of those who were still alive even more, announcing that it wouldn't be for long.

The final resting place of warlord Yoshitaka Ouichi, who brought reknown to Yamaguchi during the Muromachi Period (1333-1573)

Most of the Six Sovereigns were sickened with the effect that the dark waters had on them, but the King of the Southern Titans was plainly pleased with his new supernatural strenght. Now, he was able to squeeze matorans into jelly with one hand only, and no-one required him to use fork and knife while eating. The water resistance made his siege ballista lamentably inefficient, but he's working on it.

Osaka Castle, Japan

Osaka Castle is a very impressive structure that is situated in the Osaka Castle Park and is surrounded by a sizeable moat. I visited this castle post-sunset on Monday evening having opted to shoot the nearby little building that is The Sanctuary.

On walking around the moat and into the grounds via the drawbridge, the size of the park becomes very apparent. I personally loved the trees that offered some interest in the image when photographing the castle and the inclusion of the street lights added an extra dimension. I loved the castle and found there to be numerous compositions on offer. I shall definitely be bringing my clients along to this location on my April 2024 Japan photography workshop.

For those interested, Osaka Castle was originally completed in 1586 as a display of power and grandeur by the samurai warlord and ruler of Japan, Toyotomi Hideyoshi after accomplishing his goal of unifying Japan. The impressive castle took only three years to complete, thanks to the hard work of around 100,000 workers. theculturetrip.com/asia/japan/articles/a-brief-history-of...

The Itsukushima shrine dates back to the 6th century, and has been in its present form since 1168 when funds were provided by the warlord Taira no Kiyomori. The shrine's construction, consisting of pier-like structures built over the bay, is due to the holy status that the island once commanded. Commoners were historically not allowed to set foot on the island, and had to approach by boat, entering through the gate that appears to float.

Even with the weakening Galactic Empire, the quest for power continues as warlords hire Imperial troopers to their defense. Even with their immense wealth and social power, the galaxy can be unforgiving at times. In a show of power, the warlords unleash their forces into the streets. The atmosphere is tense. Eyes lock on to each other. Neither side makes the first move. The Rebel forces and civilians are at the brink of retaliation. Their freedom will not be threatened. Although no one is killed, their point has been taken. The warlords are an unstoppable force if backed by Imperial troops. However to add to the chaos, Bounty hunters rush into the scene with the hopes of impressing potential hirers. As you know, bounty hunting is a complicated profession...

Yet another figure, I know! I'm really liking the new photography techniques I'm using, I don't know about you guys, but I think this looks really cool! I will be able to build Lego soon, but I think there will be less posting when school starts up for me in 5 weeks.

INSPIRATION VIDEO (I suggest you watch): Watch here!

At long last, after being shrouded in darkness for eons, Proctor Scorpio returns!

I would add more story to this but since essentially nobody cares these days ii'm going to leave that bit out. What is more important is this; I've struggled a lot last year and because of that it's been a terribly slow year for moccing for me. I'm hoping to be more active in 2018.

Lastly; apologies for the decrease in picture quality. Some asshole smashed my "good"camera on NYE so I had to resort to my mobile phone for this one.

Warlord flight of a single RAF Typhoon this afternoon. I was very low and with very little warning as they came round the corner I just managed to get it. "Warlord" is a callsign used by the 29(R) Squadron, a training squadron of Eurofighter Typhoons based at RAF Coningsby. "Warlord" flights involve Typhoon aircraft from this squadron undertaking various exercises, from training to display duties and Quick Reaction Alert (QRA). The callsign is assigned to the squadron for its regular operations. #raftyphoon #wales #machloop #rafconingsby #royalairforce

Don't you struggle, don't try to bite

If you want some trouble, I'm the king of fights

I'm a wrecking ball, I'm a stinging knife

Steal your money, gonna take your life

You got screaming murder, lock up your door

Double dealing, got to have more

Call me dirty, trash my name

Just tell the boys that I'm gonna be ...

Back in business again.

Got my new lens today, Crybaby told me he thought it was ...

"Groovy?" I think he's turning into a beatnik, or flower-child, or something. (I hope he doesn't lose that eye).

I haven't changed almost anything on this build since I last posted him, I'm still really satisfied with the way he looks. Just wanted to post some new pics (the old ones sucked lol)

Assassin’s Creed® Chronicles: China

Revised the upper torso area, much more solid and blocky, tweaked the arms and took the shot from a lower angle. Getting better. I feel like it's arms are blending into the steps too much so I'll darken the steps with dark red or brown, etc.

What do you make of the head? I tried so many designs but none really nail it. I need detail that smaller than a stud (minifig rollerskates, binoculars, etc?) I figure it's CPU is prone to overheating so hence the head fabric. Not sure if it looks cool or just plain goofball? He's kind Iron Sheik right now ;-D

Bro Fig Brawl Round 2!

For those unfamiliar, each of us simultaneously built a duo of medieval-themed figs. Check Mark's out here- www.flickr.com/photos/mark-of-falworth/19593639138/in/con...

-and let us know which pair you like best! ;)

Final score of Round 1, (On Flickr and Facebook) Mark wins 12 to 10. (Bummer..)

After looking over the photos of the "Warlord" speederbike last night, I went back an tweaked a few things. I felt that it needed more color pops, and a little something extra to make it look more menacing... i.e. Shredder needed a few blades for shredding...
