I needed a little artistic motivation , so I went to the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh Pa

I've always liked that Warhol Polaroid look. Wanted to capture a candid, vintage look

I know it's been ages since I've made any images to upload mostly because I'm not able to get a decent sized image to work with without crashing atleast a zillion times before. But all this aside, I've made these two hats for " Art In Hats" an event that I'm sure you'll be hearing more about pretty soon!

Per una volta ho fatto da turista nella mia città, e mentre giravo per le vie del centro, ho incontrato per caso questo spettacolo di luci e musica e colora Palazzo Ducale a Genova, precisamente la facciata che da su Piazza Matteotti. Il celebre palazzo in questo periodo ospita la mostra delle opere del celebre artista, e la città omaggio il palazzo con i suoi colori...

Back Again Exhibit at the Whitney Museum

 

A classic Andy Warhol silkscreen painting that is on display in the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Texas.

 

"Marilyn Monroe died in August 1962, having overdosed on barbiturates. In the following four months, Warhol made more than twenty silkscreen paintings of her, all based on the same publicity photograph from the 1953 film Niagara. Warhol found in Monroe a fusion of two of his consistent themes: death and the cult of celebrity. By repeating the image, he evokes her ubiquitous presence in the media."
