The color change of the white-tail deer in our area is evident in this photo. In the spring the coat begins to turn more reddish orange and results in a thinner coat allowing deer to better adapt to the heat of summer. An added benefit to the deer is better camouflage to match its warm months environment.
After passing the milestone of fifty years together, I took note of a few of my wife’s qualities that I have appreciated and found that her relatively inexpensive seasonal change of wardrobe from our local thrift store might be one near the top of my list, plus she doesn’t molt.

Everybody should have a dress this easy to wear in their closet -- AND shoes this cute! Seriously though, I love dresses because when i'm home I don't like to wear clothes (or at least i prefer something with very little constriction) -- dresses are the closest that i get to that feeling and still am appropriately clothed. It's now about 2:30 in the afternoon and I'm remembering why I don't wear these shoes that often -- they're uncomfortable, they squeeze my toes (and that's why I'm sitting at my desk barefooted grateful that I don't have any meetings for the rest of the afternoon)

Does anyone have the patterns to this piece? I have the directions, but the paper patterns are gone. Happy to pay for the copies, just find it annoying that I am supposed to 'figure out' the pieces from the instructions.
BTW Kudos to Coats & Clark for being brave enough to sit one of the dolls AND in a skirt! There could have been some serious wardrobe malfunctions!
