I road along with a local Minneapolis based vintage airplane club for their annual River Run along the Mississippi. The planes are WW2 era T-6 Texan warbird trainers from different military branches. The photo was taken in a formation over a eastern suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota called Cottage Grove.

The Shark - P-51 Mustang, came all the way from UK to Västerås Airport Flying Museums annual airshow.
De Havilland DH 93 Mosquito T43 ,this aircraft had just been restored to flying condition and was due to shipped to the USA but thankfully it's departure was delayed for it to take part in the show.The show was brilliant but the Mossi was the icing on the cake
P-51 "Spam Can" P-40 and P-38 "23 Skidoo" at the annual fly-in at Valle airport in Flagstaff Arizona
A slightly surreal composition of these two metal bird sculptures found in the rose garden at Great Malvern. Initially mounted on a pole they are around 1.5 metres each in size. Thought they were quite eyecatching.

This aircraft was based at RAF Lyneham
The Lysander was used primarily to drop off and pick up secret agents this aircraft is now based at Duxford
Aircraft was built in 1940 at the Westland factory in Yeovil Somerset UK
