Not wanting to come right home after her treatment folks, she likes to take a ride to anywhere to unwind, and cannot blame her for that, but sometimes getting an image like this guy is worth the effort, you never know what you'll find on the back roads.
Thank you all for everything.
This is Charlie looking through that now famous hole in the gate, the bad news is that hes has been missing now for over a week, he seems to have just vanished, we are all worried for him!

I love taking vertical shots of landscapes generally, but when clouds stream overhead then it seems the only way to capture the feeling you get of being dwarfed by their size. The Wanting Comes in Waves is by The Decemberists, and is the regular pulse of clouds keeping my beach visits so much fun.
I'm going to the coast in the morning, sort of a mini vacation, so I thought I would leave you with something peaceful. I've been wanting to make this trip for some time and now it's finally here. I hope to come back with plenty of seagull, pelican and boat images..;) I won't be gone lone and I may be able to check in while I'm gone. Hopefully, I'll have to much to do..;)
I've been wanting to wear this beautiful Blueberry dress again. I first showed it you in the first weeks of the pandemic. I hope you still like it - I certainly do!! It goes perfectly with this gorgeous new hair from Tram. For the first time in ages I think I look like a proper redhead again!
Rachel is wearing:

Bald eagle fishing there along the Susquehanna River. Amazing to see these eagles all in action there along the river.

Have been wanting to do a shot for ages for this amazing quote from Salinger's 'A Girl I Knew' - and thanks to my beautiful and very patient friend *Skaya*, I finally got it done! Thank you, hope I did you justice ❤️
Marley waiting patiently outside by the back window, wanting me to let him in. I always smile when I see how intent he looks to be let in, makes me happy to think he knows where home is and survived another outdoor adventure, safe and sound.

I'm about to dive in
Baby girl, hold your breath
We about to get so wet
Swimming in your body, let me dive in
You know ain't no running 'round this pool
Going under just for you, baby you
Watch me stroke left stroke, right stroke, back stroke
Girl, there ain't no running 'round this pool
Ooh, I'm about to dive in
Baby girl, hold your breath
We about to get so wet
Put me to the test girl when I dive

I've been wanting to try out my new 10 stop ND filter since I got it a couple of weeks ago. It's been raining a lot but on Monday, the forecast was for cloudy in the morning and raining in the afternoon. So I very quickly grabbed all my gear, checked the tides, and headed out to Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver. When I set up my tripod, I realized I had brought the wrong lens! I packed up my 50mm portrait lens instead. I tried the filter and luckily it fit and I figured it would just have to do. Then it started really pouring rain - that wasn't supposed to happen! I tried to protect my lens and filter from the rain and managed to get a couple of shots in. There were birds flying around and ducks landing and taking off in the water, but none of them show up here, and I wasn't going to add a bird (this time :) ). Anyway, I rushed back up to the car, put the tripod on the roof while I was putting everything away in the downpour and took off. You guessed it, I left the tripod on the roof, but it let me know after a few feet of driving and I was able to retrieve it. At least I was able to spend a little bit of time out in nature and I discovered I really do like my new filter :)
wanting to share to you,my flickr friends some shots from malapascua island that really fed my sight...hope you will like it...hugs....:)

(Well, a more prosaic description of this photo is that my husband was looking at the Arcus Argentariorum, which could be seen on the other side of the fence. And when he was standing there, I realised it would make for quite a good shot!)
Nellie coveting the toy and her dog bed.
sitting on my lap, occasionally looking at me wanting me to fix it and get back her toy.

Wanting to see the sunrise for once, I got up early and was greeted by this sight. Amazing morning light.
I have been wanting for a while to do a black and white picture. I didn’t start this one with that in mind, but it developed as one. Hope you like it! Happy Day/Evening! Credits here: BeUnique
I’ve been wanting a chance to photograph this barn for many years now. It was down a residential farm road with strict no trespassing signs posted on the gate. Well, recently they must have sold the land to developers as the gates are torn down and they are clearing the fields to make way for new homes. This barn is one of the last remaining signs of life on these acres of land. I’ve been going pretty much every night hoping for a good sunset.
-- - UPDATE
I went back again last night in hopes of some thinning high clouds during sunset to get another take on this old structure. I came away with two new takes that I want to share with you. Here is the first.

I've been wanting to make a picture of this sad video for a long time.
Once in a while I can publish some wistful and sad picture, sometimes there is such a life
tune: Dream, Sen

English translation:
Dream
Shadows of days and dreams
are turning to tropics
Hands of dreams - black
trying to cover the eyes
your light will reveal why I know
with new day it will return again
Clouds are crawling
wind is breaking them
shadows of your soul
will vanish into dim
in the waves they leave
after hours they disapear
and the moon flush new shadows out
Stream of butterflies carry away the fear
stardust is descending on the leaves
fly throught the fire and still fading away
unhearable steps tap-dancing
in the sky rythm they are swinging
that in the morning, that in the morning they vanish
Shadows of the days grow up nad disapear
lighting up the stars into the sky signs
I know it all, from not far away our steps lead
and the moon flush new shadows out
Stream of butterflies carry away the fear
stardust is descending on the leaves
fly throught the fire and still fading away
unhearable steps tap-dancing
in the sky rythm they are swinging
that in the morning, that in the morning they vanish
Stream of butterflies carry away the fear
stardust is descending on the leaves
and new shadows and new shadows flush out

I've been wanting to take pictures of this house and tree for a few years, but it's on a stretch of US-95 that has a small shoulder and a steep embankment. Well, the other day I decided to see if I could get off the highway enough to run over and take a few pictures. My tires were on the white line and my truck and trailer were leaning away from the road. Not ideal, but the traffic is pretty light here and not on a curve, so folks could see the truck fine. Spent about 5 minutes taking pictures and glad I can cross this one off my to-do list. This is about 10 miles north of the town of Jordan Valley in Southeastern Oregon.
Update:
After some comments, I'm convinced this is not a house, but the back of a school house. If I ever get the chance to photograph again, I'll cross the barb wire fence and get some pictures of the front.
Justing wanting to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS and thank everyone for their support and hope that everyone has a great year !
This was another image from my latest trips to Mount Rainier during this winter storm of ours in the Pacific Northwest. The good thing is if you had the right car you could get above the clouds as in this image.

Not wanting to flood you all with a tidal wave of NSW outback photos, I figured it was time to switch things up. So here’s a little something from the other side of the globe—this is the stunning Athabasca River in Alberta, Canada, hands down one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever set foot. No photo can capture its pristine, majestic beauty (though I gave it my best shot, best 100 shots actually ;)
Canada’s west is the kind of place where you want to take your time, soak it all in, and not just rush around cramming as much as possible into a short trip. One day, I’d love to go back and do just that!
Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead!

As we entered Cades Cove, VERY early ... the dew was still heavy, and the sun was not up ... this is what we saw ...
precious little cub wanting to play ... he was more awake than any one ... Right now just don't dare feed them, because the berries are gone, and the acorns have not fallen ...
this is one time you just keep on a trucking ...
I just had to hang my head out the window, and get this picture ... I know I looked ridiculous .. but no one was behind me, and it was worth the stop and shot ...
Have a wonderful Monday everyone ... Cindy
I've been wanting to find this place for 7 years, but I didn't know exactly where it is. Happened upon it a couple of weeks ago. It made a better subject the first time I photographed it. The light is [almost] everything.
Swayed by the wind
Swayed by desire
Can't reach the moon up above and I
Don't dare touch the fire
Homecoming day at Secret Surrender ♥
Just wanting to blend in. Shot through my window. I see the difference between this one and my other rabbit that showed up, this one has bigger back feet and smaller ears. It has been a cold Spring so far. Did you know rabbits eat Spruce and Jack pine tree needles? This is the second time I witnessed it.
Been wanting to shoot the sunset at Manila Bay again for some time now but for the terrible traffic in the metropolis. Good Friday was a good time to do this as traffic in the city was very light (most everyone else have gone to the countryside for their vacation). There was still a good number of people along the bay area but at this location no one could interfere with my shots. Photo taken inside the breakwater looking towards the Manila Yacht Club, Philippine Navy Headquarters and some of the buildings along Roxas Blvd.
I've been wanting to do this photo for awhile. The idea of pastries and cakes floating on clouds surrounded by balloons and rainbows is quite heavenly to me right now. Maybe because I haven't actually eaten anything with sugar in it for almost 5 months? It could also be because this weekend I watched the Marie Antoinette movie and all the decadence inspired me. Anyway if you are looking for any of these yummy treats send me a message and I will let you know where they came from!
