Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is a nature reserve in the city of Huntington Beach, California. It is designated by the California Department of Fish and Game to protect a coastal wetland, with its resident threatened and endangered species.

Walk behind the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall
Seljalandsfoss is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. Visitors can walk behind the falls into a small cave. This waterfall is located about 130 kilometers southeast of Reykjavik.
This spectacular natural phenomena has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull. Filled with glacier meltwater, the river rushes south and cascades down the high rugged wall of the cliff and drops 60 meters. Seljalandsfoss then flows all the way down to the Atlantic Ocean.
There's a pond that is drained every Spring at Stanford Univ. campus, but the path around it is a popular walk whether it's full or empty.
Walking on hills during dusk, the sunlight is thrown onto us almost horizontally.

Nice to walk away from the madding crowd.... No trains either this time of the year. Beautiful views from Rocky valley station 710m on the way up to the summit of Snowdon .Unfortunately! the weather turned pretty ugly so I had to turn back at this point.
while the old says goodbye, the new is already here and will soon be the old itself...

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a yellow day at Color my World Daily and as usual we celebrate with a yellow picture. Today we have a lemon and a blue dinosaur…What is the inspiration behind it ? I’m not sure but my guess is on my latest monthly challenge from my apple watch. Yes, i’m completely addicted !
This month the challenge is to walk or run 469,4 km. So far I’m at 450,4 km which means I have 19 km to walk or run today, until midnight !! Since it is hot like hell here and my treadmill is out of order for the next few day/weeks, I’m walking/running inside… I walk while making breakfast, I walk while making lunch, I walk/run in my swimming pool, I walk while talking on the phone or answering your comments…I walk while talking to my husband… I walk in my sleep (lol well at least in my dreams since apparently there is no extra steps on my Apple watch in the morning…). I feel like a bear or a dinosaur in a cage : an indoor walking route becomes very boring , very fast! My feet are killing me but I’m very, very determined to win this challenge. I’m sure that at this point, you are dying to know what is there to win… Well , my friends, the answer is : nothing except a tiny and cute badge on your Apple Watch. It is official: I’m crazy. But I have to go: the streets are calling my name and I have 19 km to walk (I just hope that my feet will be able to move after my yesterday’s 27 km ). Wish me luck!

From our walk along the seafront at Thorpe Bay, Essex on Sunday. Was such a lovely day with blue skies and beautiful sunshine, good for the soul!
