I’ve always preferred mountains over beaches ... especially on such a wonderful day with vibrant blue sky, lots of sunshine and not meeting much people during the hike :)

We will soon set out for my beloved mountains once again - can't wait !!

Ich habe schon immer die Berge dem Meer vorgezogen ... insbesondere an einem solch schönen Sonnentag mit grandios blauem Himmel und erstaunlich wenig 'Verkehr' auf der Wanderstrecke :)
-> Rückweg von der Haniger Schwaige (bewirtschaftete Schutzhütte) mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf das Rosengarten Massiv (Catinaccio), Südtirol - links die Vajolettürme.
Wir werden bald wieder aufbrechen - kann es kaum erwarten :)

Looking inside the backdoor of a long abandoned farmhouse near Galesburg,IL. This old farm is buried in the trees and appears to be a complete walkaway. Other forgotten treasures on this forgotten farm-a vintage tractor and a 1970's Volkswagon Vanagon! Have a great weekend everyone!

We came across this abandoned farmhouse surrounded by the remains of a picket fence down a lonely central Illinois backroad.It was a walkaway-it was full of personal belongings that are slowly turning into moldy garbage as the house decays. It was pretty precarious going getting into this mess,but fellow explorer Aces & Eights did the duty and reported back to me as I kept watch outside,first aid kit close by.He noticed a curious scene in the kitchen-an old Lazyboy recliner next to a garbage can full of Smirnoff bottles(not sure the flavor,that may make a difference?).Why worry about the property when you can relax and have a cold Smirnoff...?
Of course if it would have been Blue Moon bottles and a whole bunch of orange peels,I would have totally understood....
Also,there was also something about cats,but that's a whole different story...

My dear Flickr friends, I can no longer stay quiet! I am a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 9 and as by now you all know how important the family unit is to me.
I am watching doctors and professionals walking away from their jobs because they are afraid of being sued for saving a life!
Isn't it a little hypocritical to allow hanging or death by lethal injection and yet not to help an abortion to save a child or a mother. Where does government come into this question? Can we not leave this up to the mothers and the professionals. Believe me, there are few mothers who would willingly abort outside absolute dire circumstances. Are we to tell others how to live, when it is hard enough to make our own decisions.

Enjoy Strolls on the River's Beautiful Walkaways, walks can be made along the low quays ; furthermore, boat tours are also offered.
In Utrecht, the Netherlands, the autumn leaves create a carpet —all red and gold— next to a canal.
Towering trees and buildings are reflected into the surface of the water.
Bridges are discernible far away, as well as a passer-by walking.
P2505/ P2515 are on 5G52 empty Grain just out of Walkaway on the Greenough Flats on 23 December 2021.
After a loaded 1G53 grain failed , two more P classes were sent to assist which led to P2508/ P2503/ P2515/ P2514 on 1G53 loaded grain just north of Walkaway on 31 January 2022.
I recently visited my mother in the Cotswolds, little did I know that only fifteen miles away was an excellent site to observe and photograph the very beautiful Short-eared Owls. Over a three hour period we were treated to multiple close passes, dives and mid-air battles by the five individuals around on this day.
I was very tempted to add an extra day to our trip just to go back for another go, but decided that sometimes its better to walkaway on a high and enjoy the moment for what it was.
I've also recently added a couple of wee bits of gear to my kit bag so I was really keen to give them a good blast. I must admit the combination of the 600mm f4 on the 1DX in these circumstances was absolutely superb. The 300mm f2.8 lens was used by my good lady and proved itself to be (as expected) razor sharp and fast.
