This is a friend of mine, Josiah. I met him when he used to play shows with a local band, We The Audience -whom I regularly worked with, usually taking photos. More recently Josiah has left the band to persue music and art of his own, and just in the past few months has become a small business owner.
This shot was my favorite from the series; it was shot on the Contax 645, with a Zeiss Planar 2/80 lens shot wide open, on FujiColor PRO 800Z, rated at 400 ASA -Scanned on a Fuji Frontier SP-3000 scanner, by PhotoVision lab. The goal with this shot was to create a dignified and respectable portrait that would serve well for business marketing -yet have a modern and artistic look to it.
