After an amazing wakeboard set where we had the entire lake to ourselves I decided to mount the GoPro on the nose of my surfboard and take it for a spin.
Happy Friday :)
Had a fun evening on the lake taking wakesurfing photos!
Lighting: Three Canon 430EXII flashes with Pocket Wizard TT5's on a Tri-Grip and all triggered in High Speed Sync Mode. Assistant held the lights out to on a monopod camera left on this shot.

Geneva old school Surf Session
This is my neighbor's all-star wakesurfer son, Campbell.
I've been working on a start-up company and our new camera product... a video camera slider that we're launching next week. It'll be exciting to see how that goes!
Those of you that follow me on FB or IG may remember some pics I took last week of a wakesurf board that I was doing some modifications to to see if I could make it easier to ride. The idea was to increase the curl of the nose of the board to help prevent it from subbing under the water. There are some pics in the comments that show what I did to the board to get the result I was looking for.
Well on Sunday we had a chance to take it out and give it a try for the first time and I have to say, it worked amazingly well! None of us are great wakesurfers, we only do it when the water is too rough to wakeboard or we have done enough wakeboarding for the day, so anything to make it easier is a plus.
FYI: As you can see from the video my son is a much better wakesurfer than he is a videographer, sorry about the chopped off heads ;)
And why do I look stoned in the start frame!!! LOL
