Electric motors often outlive the tools they inhabit. Plastic fatigues in the sunlight and those screw holes just get wallowed out from the vibration. This sometimes calls for reinforcement here and there but, good God, man! Pressure treated wood and deck screws? Are you trying to pass this off as Abe Lincoln's weed eater or some kind of phony baloney Amish-built monstrosity? An abomination unto the Lord!
