Many alike were destined as taxi's and this one definitely was too.
It seemed to be in rough shape suffering from some serious rust, which was more apparent looking at the lower rear. It was sat outside a workshop so hopefully now on the up-and-up.

You won't believe it, but I actually spotted this beautiful Mercedes W115 in Luang Prabang, Laos. And even though this photo is completely out of place in my gallery, I simply had to photograph it and share it.
This car is probably as old as I am, because the model series (if I've identified it correctly – if not, please let me know) was built from 1968 to 1978.
That's why I decided to show the photo in black and white.
Ihr werdet es nicht für möglich halten, doch diesen wunderschönen Mercedes W115 habe ich tatsächlich in Luang Prabang in Laos entdeckt. Und auch, wenn dieses Foto in meiner Galerie total aus der Reihe tanzt, musste ich den einfach fotografieren und auch veröffentlichen.
Dieses Fahrzeug ist wahrscheinlich so alt wie ich, denn die Baureihe (falls ich sie richtig erkannt habe - falls nicht, bitte ich um einen Hinweis) wurde von 1968-1978 gebaut.
Darum habe ich mich auch entschieden, das Foto als schwarzweiß Version zu zeigen.

Если не ошибаюсь, это Mercedes W114 или W115 (отличались двигателями). Выпускался с конца 1960-х и до середины 1970-х г.г.

That's a Mercedes-Benz W115, a 1973-1976 facelifted model, and it looks immaculate.
Taken with Pentax MV film camera and smc Pentax-M 40mm F2.8 pancake lens, on a short roll of AgfaPhoto APX 400 film. Developed in Adonal 1+50 at 22°C.
Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 film scanner using VueScan.
chatted with a buddy, I think this is what it is, saw a 2xx diesel badge when it passed the other way, thought 280 but that's not a thing and so most likely a 4 instead of an 8 I think.
