Viele Möglichkeiten die Burg Königstein mit einem Zug aufs Bild zu bekommen gibt es nicht. Ich habe es im September mal mit viel Weitwinkel in der 180 Grad Kurve zwischen Schneidhain und Königstein probiert. Zu sehen ist eine VT2E-Doppeltraktion angeführt vom erstgebauten Zug dieser Baureihe für die FKE. Am Aufnahmeort stand das Gespann noch am Anfang seiner fast 2 1/2 stündigen Fahrt als Langläufer nach Brandoberndorf.

In de tachtiger jaren werd een aantal keren de zomervakantie doorgebracht in Brixen im Thale in Oostenrijk. Tijdens deze vakanties werd ook een aantal malen de Zillertal Bahn bezocht.Tijdens één van deze bezoeken kon het voormalig tramstel "Sperwer" van de RTM op de foto worden gezet.Dit treinstel werd in 1967 door de RTM verkocht aan de Zillertal Bahn. In 1999 ging dit tramstel bij de Zillertal Bahn uit dienst en ging in dat jaar weer terug naar Nederland. Sinds 2003 rijdt na een restauratie dit tramstel bij de Stichting v/h Rotterdamse Tramweg Maatschappij. Op de foto wordt tramstel VT 1 van de Zillertal Bahn gereed gemaakt voor een rit naar Mayerhofen.

Letztes Jahr fiel Anfang Dezember ungewöhnlich viel Neuschnee auf einmal im Alpenraum. Am 03.12.2023 zeigte sich dann teilweise auch die Sonne und diese Kombination sorgte für eine wunderbare Winterlandschaft. Auf der Zillertalbahn bei Schlitters fotografierte ich VT1 an der Spitze des R 145 von Jenbach nach Mayrhofen.

A la base 3 VT assuraient des tournés de mesure de la géométrie des voies dans toute la France. Aujourd'hui seul le VT2 est encore en service suite aux incendies des VT1 et 3. Considéré comme une voiture Mauzin, une partie de la maintenance de sa chaîne de mesure est réalisée aux Laumes. Voilà une des rares occasions de le voir en dehors de la région parisienne. Le voici remontant à son dépôt d'attache: Acheres. La marche 814226 a été tracée quelques heures avant avec un départ à 16h des laumes pour une arrivée à 22h à Acheres. D'ici la fin de l'année il devrait perdre sa livrée bleu délavée contre une nouvelle qui n'est encore pas définie.

Dat de stoomloc op de vorige foto zo vlot aan ons voorbij kwam, had alles te maken met het feit dat de loc snel moest omlopen voordat de dieselmotorwagen uit Nordhausen Nord zou binnenkomen; anders zou er geen omloopmogelijkheid meer zijn. Deze zou twee minuten voor het vertrek van beide stoomtreinen aankomen, dus werd deze ook nog opgewacht voor een foto voordat we weer terug in de trein naar Stiege zouden stappen.
Deze trein werd gereden door een van de twee dieselmechanische motorwagens uit 1955, welke destijds door Talbot gebouwd waren voor de toenmalige Kreis Altenaer Eisenbahn AG. In 1961 kwamen ze door het stopzetten van diverse treindiensten bij de KAE uiteindelijk op de Oostfriesche Inselbahn Langeoog terecht, waar de motorwagens met het nummer VT1 en VT2 uiteindelijk tot 1995 dienst deden voordat ze aan de HSB verkocht werden. Door hun vorige leven op Langeoog worden de twee motorwagens ook wel 'Fischstäbchen', ofwel vissticks, genoemd! Bij de HSB kregen ze de nummers 187 011 en 187 013. De 187 012, met hetzelfde bouwjaar als de andere twee motorwagens, is een ander type motorwagen dat door de Waggonfabrik Fuchs voor de Mittelbadischen Eisenbahnen gebouwd werd. Deze is niet mechanisch, maar hydraulisch uitgevoerd. Via een paar omwegen kwam deze in 1976 ook op het schiereiland te rijden. Daar reed de motorwagen onder het nummer VT3. Deze werd ook in 1995 door de HSB overgenomen.
Vanaf 1999, na de levering van de nieuwe motorwagens uit de fabriek in Halberstadt, worden de beide motorwagens enkel nog vast ingezet op de Selketalbahn of als reserve als een Halberstadter uitvalt. Zo kwam het dus voor dat de motorwagens ook op de Harzquerbahn werden ingezet, zo ook dus op 1 februari 2026, toen de 187 011 vanuit Nordhausen Nord als P 8914 naar Eisfelder Talmühle.
Voor de oplettende kijker: de machinist had tijdens de rit het bekendste duo uit Sesamstraat achter de ruit geplaatst: Bert en Ernie. Hier zit ook weer een verhaal aan gekoppeld uit de tijd dat de motorwagens nog een schakelbak bezaten. Wanneer de bak tijdens het overschakelen een aantal keren misschakelde, klonk dit net als de bekende lach van Ernie! Vandaar dat de beide figuren als knipoog nog meereizen, al bezitten de motorwagens geen schakelbak meer.
Um von Jenbach ins Zillertal zu kommen muss die Bahnstrecke die Flussseite des Inns wechseln. Dies passiert mit kombinierter Straßen und Bahnbrücke östlich von Jenbach bei Ort Rotholz. Zum Glück liegt die Eisenbahnstrecke auf dem Südwestlichen Teil der Brück sodass man die Zillertalbahn von dem benachbarten Notburgasteg aus fotografieren kann. Am 22.09.22 überqueren VT1 und 3 den Inn Richtung Mayrhofen
Am 01.11.24 waren sogar drei Dieseltriebzüge im Zillertal unterwegs. Das Gespann aus dem VT3, dem B4.37 und dem VT1 haben soeben Ramsau Richtung Mayrhofen verlassen.
Na een testweek tbv ETCS Level 2 in het zuiden van het land werd Siemens-desiro-teststel VT1.0/1.5 door mP 3029 op 12 maart 2005 vanuit Maastricht overgebracht naar Emmerich (D).

Het tramstel van de voormalige Rotterdamse Tramweg Maatschappij staat gereed voor een rit naar Mayrhofen. In 1999 kwam het terug in Nederland en vond domicilie bij de RTM-museumlijn in Ouddorp.
Der von der SLB übernommene Triebwagen hat selten Arbeitsdienst er kommt meist nur zum Einsatz wenn ein Fahrzeug ausfällt . Hier springt VT1 am 07.07.2023 in Schlitters ein .
