Low Fog Event at the Golden Gate Bridge

Interior of Pura Tanah Lot (Temple)

Every day, the lad who was part of the room service team of the resort I was staying in would get creative and leave a towel mascot as this one, along with a note, wishing me a nice day. Such personal touch is a trademark of exemplary behaviour. Cheers, Agus!

Kutupalong refugee camp

A trip to the Rohingya refugee camp as a volunteer, just on the outskirts of Cox's Bazaar, the world's longest unbroken sea beach. The border was opened up and a flood of refugees came pouring in for dear life, escaping persecution and genocide in neighbouring, Myanmar. The terrorist Buddhist monks, along with the Myanmar army have been systematically persecuting the Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar for decades. Current state is rather dire, as it has blown to a full scale ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya people by the Myanmar (formerly Burma) army and militant Buddhist monks. So much for Buddhism being a peaceful religion. I tagged along with a local Bangladeshi NGO, which distributed food aid along with a make shift clinic at the border, where the refugee camp is located. Estimated 900,000+ refugees are cramped in tents in ghetto like conditions and many are ill, injured and lost their loved ones as rape, pillage and murder continue of the Rohingya people in Myanmar.

This is another story of an individual, who walked for almost a week to reach the border in dire search of a sanctuary. Many lost their dear ones and stories of mothers and sisters being raped and burned afterwards have become commonplace, along with minors. Young boys and men are all rounded up and sent to labour camps or are all shot dead and buried in mass graves. What are their crimes you ask? The colour of their skin, is their only sin!
