You can't stay mad at an idea that makes you laugh, either. Creativity requires a great deal of play, and highly creativity people respect this. Because there is no threat of failure in play, ideas can be tested, no matter how crazy they may seem. And when you're the person making you laugh, you can't stay mad at yourself very long.
There often seems to be a playfulness to wise people, as if either their equanimity has as its source this playfulness or the playfulness flows from the equanimity; and they can persuade other people who are in a state of agitation to calm down and manage a smile.

As part of PARK(ing) Day 2009, three members of VizThink Philadelphia set up a SketchPark where members of the public could sit down and draw. And draw they did-diagrams, doodles, landscapes and more.
The idea of the park was to bring visual thinking to the streets, to give people the opportunity to pour their thoughts out on paper in images to help them understand, learn, communicate, and just have fun.
