Had an amazing view from the 33rd floor of the Shangrila Hotel Premiere Horizons Suite in Sydney. This image is a stacked shot of about 15x 30second exposures that were shot towards the end of a Holy Grail time lapse video I made. Essentially you take a photo every few seconds for a couple of hours and put them all together to create a short video. I shot with 2 @sonyaustralia mirrorless cameras side by side from my vantage point in the suite. This camera, Sony A7r, did a holy grail time lapse, which is where you shoot photos all the way from blue skies to night time. It’s hours of work compressed into a few seconds, but I love them! 💖 I shot a bunch of other zoomed in detail shots on my other camera, Sony A7ii, which I hope to get around to editing this week :-) let me know what you think below.

The light seen behind the mountain is caused by the lights from the city. This shows the amount of light pollution coming from the city. This is the reason why we cannot see stars while we are in the city. And this is how beautiful the night sky looks if there is no light pollution.

We were out here for a lightpainting session with @ill.lumen.nation. As everyone wrapped up and left, I thought that the dam by itself, without any lights or steel wool, was interesting by itself. So I took this long exposure. It actually took a few tries, because everyone turned on lights as they were leaving, and I had to keep asking people to point their lights away from the dam. Hate those push photographers. 😎

Dubai is probably on of the places in the world where you can find the most modern and beautiful architectural designs. This is probably one of them.
Before Europeans settled here, the Kiewa Valley was an annual meeting place for six Aboriginal tribes where they gathered to perform rituals and sort out their grievances. They also enjoyed a good feed of Bogong moths that prefer to breed here in the summer months, it's cool this morning at 6°C (42°F).
Kiewa means sweet water.
