Just before the first hard frost, the smart/lucky ones snuck indoors!

Indoor Visitor 0301

You are late to the party Mr. Crow.

Sorry about being away yesterday but I do not get out much,

Today was a dilemma as I had to solve my internet once again with phone calls and complaints, then I had to figure out what I could post. Then, as always a two for one deal popped into my head. Happy Bench Monday and then share it with my Teddy Bear Tuesdays.

Birds in the garden

Insekten sind bei Blumen stets gern gesehene Gäste.

Insects ensure the existence in the plant world. Just because they are not petting animals, we shouldn't neglect them.

I came across this photo last night as I was going through my "gallery" and noticed a crow had flown into my shot!!

Since a few days this cat is visiting our yard. It seems he adores Miep, the cat who lives in our yard. I don't think this one is homeless.

This Heron often comes and stands on the wall between a boating lake and a wildlife pond in the late afternoon. During the day the boating lake has swan pedalos. In the evening real swans, ducks and gulls take over. Young's Park, Goodrington, Devon.

Largo da Sé is a charming square lined with orange trees […] and dominated by the city’s impressive cathedral plus a cluster of palatial buildings, including the Bishop’s Palace.

Built on the site of an old mosque following the Reconquest in 1251, Faro’s magnificent Sé Cathedral is blessed with a bold, basilica-like interior particularly notable for its 18th-century Baroque organ and wide nave flanked by exquisite azulejo tiles. Visitors who ascend the bell tower are rewarded with the most breathtaking views of the city’s old quarter, nearby wetlands and far beyond. Google

This rabbit (and his mate) are our constant visitors. My dog, Andy, would love to catch him & tries often. Rabbits are too agile for Andy but he has a good time trying. ~ On the front lawn.

I have been looking through some of my older photos, this one is my little friend in summer 2019.

We had a new visitor to the backyard today, this Dark Eyed Junco stopped in for a brief snack before flying off to parts unknown, but not before I managed to take a few photos of him.

A Sympherobius brown lacewing at my porchlight. These are terrific little 5mm aphid-eating machines in both their larval and adult stages.

Bumblebee are not only pretty .. they also dont´t hurt anyone.

Berkeley Castle is a castle in the town of Berkeley, Gloucestershire, UK. The castle's origins date back to the 11th century, and it has been designated by English Heritage as a grade I listed building.

The castle has remained within the Berkeley family since they reconstructed it in the 12th century, except for a period of royal ownership by the Tudors. It is traditionally believed to have been the scene of the murder of King Edward II in 1327.

In 1956 Berkeley Castle was opened to visitors and remains open today.

Rodolfo is a visitor that wants to live here ;-)

There are some days that he comes to have meals and are welcome by Ziva, Shelly, Britney, Caterina, Mammina e Monica Bellucci.

Also Brad Pitt and Boss accept him. I hope that the wranglers: Richard Gere, George Clooney and Antonio Banderas let him stay.

A peaceful and beneficial garden visitor, this is a black and yellow mud dauber (Sceliphron caementarium) wasp.

Even though they have bright warning colours, these wasps are not at all aggressive like other wasps. They are solitary parasitoid wasps that build nests out of mud.

After building a cell of the nest, the female wasp captures several spiders. The captured prey are stung and paralyzed before being placed in the nest (usually 6-15 per cell), and then a single egg is deposited on the prey within each cell. The wasp then seals the cell with a thick mud plug. After finishing a series of cells, she leaves and does not return. The larva spins a cocoon and pupates. Eventually, the hatching larva will eat the prey and emerge from the nest.

Stings are rare due to their usually peaceful nature, however nests are aggressively defended.

There are several visitors to my garden every day. The bees are just one of them and they are most welcome. I did not realize that my Bleeding Hearts would be such a treat for them. My lilacs are definitely drawing them into my backyard right now. Soon it will be the lavender. The Hummingbird has been into the Bleeding hearts too but I haven't been home long enough to catch him/her yet!

Visitors arriving in Esbjerg from the sea are greeted by Svend Wiig Hansen’s monumental sculpture "Man meets the Sea", which was raised on the occasion of Esbjerg celebrating its 100th anniversary as an independent municipality in 1994. It was officially unveiled on 28 October 1995.
