This bewick's wren jumped over to a branch near me at Commonwealth Lake. I did what any photographer would do, trying my best to present a nice portrait for the cooperative subject!
The rose chafers are a subfamily of the scarab beetles. The subfamily is distributed worldwide, but has its distribution focus in the tropics. About 3000 species in about 400 genera are known. The taxonomy of the group is controversial. Wikipedia

While offices are located on the upper floors, the ground floor is completely occupied by retail facilities including two restaurants, many of which can also or only be reached via the passages and the atriums..
Every year, this time of year, I have the pleasure of seeing the Townsend's warblers. They're likely around other times, too, and I just don't know where to look for them. But in the Spring, I can watch this tree as it blossoms, and will eventually see one. One of our flashier warblers!
