Bought myself a little bit of mainland recently and it came landscaped like this! It's so pretty I had to take at least one picture before I demolish it.
As it happens, quite a lot when you miss-click; was it ever thus as the saying goes. Been rather thoughtful lately and this seems to be reflected in some of my images. I'm sure all of you have a space to retire to and think, so I hope 2023 is better for you all. May it bring all the good things you wished for.

I am the earth and the earth is me. Each blade of gras, each honey tree. Each bit of mud and stick and stone is blood and muscle. ...skin and bone. There is no place I can hide and close my eyes. Hate, racism, violence, poverty and all other negative things that curses our world are no accidents as Nelson Mandela said once ago. It is man-made and can be removed by the actions of human beings.
So no matter how small I see myself I carry this on my shoulders and I´m able to bring my inner peace to the world.
Stop hiding yourself and stand for peace!

I was so sorry I missed the opening of Lori Bailey's exhibit at The Lost Unicorn Gallery but so glad I got to go see it. Her beautiful, dreamy pictures always evoke such a feeling of serenity in me. The only question left is which one am I taking home...
