The weekend’s photo location really is amazing. I’m so flabbergasted by the level of builds and sim design that there is around Second Life. The Spirits of Shara at Amara (catchy name!) is so fantastical! The flowers and lighting is finely tuned to just work. This is definitely a location that everyone should try to visit as soon as possible!
Anyone who knows me, knows that the Pacific Northwest has very special meaning to me. Back in the day when we (the fab four) had a region it was almost always done up in the PNW style. Some may remember Ravenhurst, some may not, but always great memories there. This photo is a throwback to that time and place in my Second Life journey. took me right back there.

This was a frantic weekend that I struggled to get to all the awesome shopping opportunities. I did find some really cute items and a great summertime feel on the destination guide.

This is what I hope is going to become a new series of shots. Every weekend I love the sales around Secondlife, so as an excuse for my spending, I'm going to be creating a look based on purchases. Additionally I'm going to try to set this on a location in the destination guide. This first destination is Spring in Chicaland

So many cute items this week. Picked up this outfit that feels like spring to me.
Everyone should head over to tonarino, a Japanese urban neighbourhood town, and tour around, the sim is amazing!

This weekend had a fantastic deal of a free Queen Catwa HDPro head. I snapped that up quick, what a deal!
The Destination guide location this week was TokSik Jello - described as "a photographic story installation that tells the story of a child navigating socially, within a wasteland of fragmentation and warring personalities. Come follow the Story of the Bheanz in a stark wasteland background set in an altered dream. "

**Lost in Marrakesh between the smells of incense and curry.
**The arabic voices of story tellers and fortune readers.
**There I was in the most oniric sunset of my life, in Jemaa el Fna forgot my identity , my culture, my country... and turned into a belly dancer (odalisca).
**I forgot it all, you never bring you're culture to Marrakesh you need to forget to remember here.. or else the misteries of Marrakesh will be forever veiled to you.

Had to include a portrait of the new look with the Catwa HDpro Queen head that was my big deal of the weekend!
Apple Fall is one of my favourites for home design, the muted colours and product quality gets me every time. The brand is very generous to its customers and this photos is an example of many of the free and fairly costed items that I love from their store.
I was lucky enough to be selected for their Monday promotion and wanted to showcase some of the items that I purchased with my gifted store credit.

The telephone bench from Bloom inspired this post. Every once and a while you come across something that spurs deep memories and this bench was that for me. My grandma and most other ladies of her generation had a telephone bench prominently set in their home. That was the inspiration for this photo, a modern recreation of my grandma's home.
