The red neon sign says "ROBOT" but when I first took this shot, the angle I had it in only showed the "ROB" and it looked too much like "ROBLOX" and I had to retake it lmao.

A venomous viper of the Namib desert. It's very small and it was hidden in the desert sands where it has perfect camouflage.

Kept a close eye on me, through the thick glass. Amazing to watch and see, so closely. He's quite beautiful. I'm hoping to try this shot again. Never know if they'll be up close or hiding.

Echium vulgare The upright, blue flower spikes of Viper's-bugloss can be spotted on chalk grassland, sand dunes, cliffs and banks. Its spotted stem is thought to resemble a viper

An image showing two flower spikes within a much larger clump of Viper's Bugloss. A real eye-catcher plant once it has attained some height, it bears conspicuous blue flowers.
BEST VIEWED LARGE.
Eyelash Vipers have long fangs and if you're bitten you may die. Fortunately, they do not bite humans unless you tease or trample on them. I made sure not to tease this one!

Consider it a sketch.
Wouldn't be very stable if built with real bricks.
Maybe I’ll try to build something similar one day,
but then I’d have to make so many changes that the result would become something different.

Upturned snout. About 60cms long. I originally mistook this for a Viperine snake (Natrix maura) as it was in water. The markings didn't look right though, also the shape of the head. There are photos of similar poorly marked Asp Vipers on Flickr.

Taken on a Canon EOS 5D Mark 3 DSLR coupled to a vintage m42 Carl Zeiss Jena 35mm/2.4 Flektogon lens from the seventies with a third party adapter. Hand held with reflected side-lighting. Manual settings.
