It took a while, but I finally got around to photographing
Kansas City's Streetcar no. 803 in its "KC Monarchs" wrap to commemorate the Negro Leagues' Centennial (in 2020), and the city's Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. Here, it's pulling out of the River Market North stop.
Thursday night, I was invited to tour the Kansas City streetcar's car barn, and was thrilled to find the 802 in there, getting its vinyl Art in the Loop "Party Car" wrap applied to it, just in time for First Friday.
Very cool!
Recently I had the opportunity to do a feature story on the 2016 world vinyl wrap winner which is an Aussie built 1928 Tudor!

An ETR 211 Metrostar sits at Sorrento Station wrapped in a special 'Vesuvius' vinyl celebrating personalites with connections to Mount Vesuvius and Naples. Not nearly as numerous as the older T21 and FE220 EMUs on the Circumvesuviana they have suffered chronic reliability problems since introduction in 2008 that only by 2018 were being resolved.
