In the afternoon, Salquenen hillsides vineyard are coated with a slight mist again.
We visited our friends' vineyard, mostly for the fall colours, but they also raise sheep they let loose in the vineyard. . . so will post one of those images in the next day or so. lambsandvineswinery.com/

Family including baby reptilian shapeshifter, daughter and son in law all were with me to explore the areas of Placerville. This beauty was at one of the apple hill winery's and quite lovely. Rich colors and cheerful. The whole area is gorgeous.

We drove into the countryside to visit a friend with a vineyard and winery whose wife raises sheep to sell wool and yarn. . .

This gorgeous hare obviously enjoys the finer things in life as it lives in a local vineyard.
Thanks to a tip off from my daughter I walked down there last night and was thrilled to spot it between the vines.
I found this one really tricky to compose as I wanted to include the vines too, but I think I'm happy with this (for now!)
These were the vineyards near Waldulm in the Black Forest that the kestrel in my previous photo was hovering over. So this was the view we had over lunch - well, just part of it!
