Die Villa Pantschoulidzeff wurde 1850 bis 1854 nach Plänen des Wiener Ringstraßenarchitekten Theophil von Hansen errichtet. Sie liegt an wunderbarer Lage oberhalb von Traunkirchen am Traunsee und ist seit vielen Jahren unbewohnt. Ihr Garten hat mich schon immer durch seinen morbiden Charme fasziniert. Eigentlich ist es Privatbesitz und eingezäunt, doch wenn man will findet man ein unauffälliges, aber viel genutztes Loch in der Hecke. Wie durch ein Wunder ist dieser Ort bis heute von jeglichem Vandalismus verschont geblieben und präsentiert sich als Glücksfall für Fotografen.
The Villa Pantschoulidzeff was built between 1850 and 1854 according to plans by the Viennese Ringstrasse architect Theophil von Hansen. It is situated in a wonderful location above Traunkirchen am Traunsee and is uninhabited for many years. Its garden has always fascinated me with its morbid charm. It is actually private property and fenced in, but if you want you can find an inconspicuous but much used hole in the hedge. Miraculously, this place has been spared from any vandalism until today and presents itself as a stroke of luck for photographers.

Die Villa Hügel im Essener Stadtteil Bredeney wurde 1870–1873 im Auftrag von Alfred Krupp errichtet und ist das ehemalige Wohn- und Repräsentationshaus der Industriellenfamilie Krupp.
The Villa Hügel is a 19th-century mansion in Bredeney, now part of Essen, Germany. It was built by the industrialist Alfred Krupp in 1870–1873 as his main residence and was the home of the Krupp family until after World War II.

Die Villa verfügt auf ihren 8.100 Quadratmetern Wohn- und Nutzfläche über 269 Räume und liegt – an prominenter Stelle über dem Ruhrtal und dem Baldeneysee – im 28 Hektar großen zugehörigen Hügelpark.
Heute ist die Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Stiftung Eigentümerin des Anwesens. In der Villa Hügel hat auch die Kulturstiftung Ruhr ihren Sitz. Im Haus finden regelmäßig Veranstaltungen, z.B. Konzerte oder Ausstellungen, statt. Zahlreiche historische Räume sowie die Historische Ausstellung Krupp können zu den regulären Öffnungszeiten besichtigt werden.
