A view from the top of Stadshuset to some of the main buildings of this beautiful city.

The Palolo region that backs against the distant hills, with dramatic cloud patterns. Clouds usually shroud the upper regions of the hills, making it cold up there. Image features residentials on the hill slopes, and hotels, motels and apartments in the foreground. Ala Wai Canal can be seen across the middle of the image. A panoramic view. On the 30th floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

I drive past this stack of hay bales every day and forunately the day after i managed to get some images they were gone.

So yesterday, my friend Kevin saw my photo of a box of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts here on Flickr. The funny thing is, that photo is from about 4 years ago, when we all drove out there and bought a box each. So he emailed me and accused me of torturing him with that tasty image, and he was much compelled to drive all the way out there again and get some more. It was the right choice; those doughnuts are amazing (if not addictive).

Gatineau, Quebec is opposite Ottawa, Ontario. Together, these two cities form the National Capital Region of Canada. Gatineau offers a good view of the splendid Parliament Hill.

Unfortunately we have to move out of here again this summer - they're renovating the building and everything is temporary and chaotic. But it's nice for now. I adore the view!
